How is this offensive to Christians? A guy making observations and questioning what he sees in the various man made religions of the world? I'm Christian and I ask the same questions! You can't just blindly follow! Religion and religious people have a lot to answer for - all the wars, child molestation, abuse of unmarried mothers, beating us up in school etc... That doesn't make me less a Christian by saying this, and listening Motorhead, Maiden and Slayer doesn't either! Believewhatuwant2!!

Grew up in the 80/90 and saw all the rock bands either die or suck (GnR, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Led Zep,...) THe Only real guy that's still around is Lemmy and Motorhead, thanks for keeping Rock n Roll, up, you are saving our souls!

Firstly: calm down. Secondly: "put and end to the pious" means get rid of pious people. Pious people take religion very seriously. He's basically saying get rid of zealots, which doesn't deny the existence of god.
He never says in the song "there is no god." he wonders about the 'problem of evil' (google epicurus) among other things, but he never actually says it. You can infer it all you want but it doesn't make it true.
