@Doma111222333 It's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned, at least if you live in a rural area. You don't notice it much in the city, but it's great where there are no street lights. I'd pick this option every time in the future. It's honestly even better in person than it is in the video, and not at all distracting. The lights are always right where your eyes are going on winding roads.

This could be potentially dangerous as it lead to drivers thinking, "hey i can see furthur ahead so it's ok for me to drive faster". proof of point: 80mph in a pitch black tiny patch of twisty tarmac.
i just have plain self leveling bi-xenons on a merc and theres no going back to halogen. whenever i'm in someone elses car i wonder how they could see with such dull lights. adaptive lights are a step up again.
and the self levelling motors work so quickly that the beam hardly ever raises in to the sight of on coming traffic.

Nice but can't help think you're going a little fast on what looks like a thin road... not you I'm bothered about - you seem to not care, it's the on-coming...
It was late at night, I could easily see oncoming traffic, the road is rarely used, and I was in my lane most of the time, espeically anywhere I couldn't see far ahead of me. I wasn't even breaking the speed limit on most of the video.
They turn with the wheel. There are also sensors on the front and rear suspension so the system can tell when the nose is diving under hard braking and they stay level. Also, if you're moving slow and hit the turn signal the inside light on that side comes on to light up where you're turning.
i have got bi-xenons on my 5 series but not adaptive.Myself I think i would spend my money on xenons rather than adaptive. Unless i have 2k to through away and ill have both lol.
They wont level under braking and hard accelration they wil adjust if the car is loaded (somethin in the trunk). As far as them moving with the signal that is true if your taking a right in your case but not for the left so it wont blind the poor bastard on the other side of the intersection.
These lights absolutely do level under braking and acceleration. The movement to the right is only restricted at low speeds, and when the lights are on dim. If you're moving fast or have them on bright they will turn much further left.
The high beams were on the whole time. There's no cutoff because the 135i uses the projectors for high and low. The inside lamps only come on while turning, or when you're in reverse.
Thanks. The headlights aren't really all that noticable until you're on a twisty road like that one. Also, they're on bright in the video. I don't think they move as much on dim, and don't turn to the left as much either, I'm assuming so they don't blind oncoming cars.
Very cool. I wonder if the Infiniti G37 Coupes have his.

is this option a no brainer? or is it more like personal preference? I seems it might not be as useful as it could be and maybe distracting?
