nothern hemisphere = Ejäfjälläjökull and burning Russia ( tons of billions of ash in the sky ) circulating for months up there, we'll see a lot of days like this all over the world and floods (latest India) even Monsoons (i suppose) may get a push up by this new 'energy' added to the normal system.
We were in Alppilanpuisto when it struck..was too in awe to whip out my camera..people were screaming before the rain even came down. Afternoon light turned into night time dark in seconds!
@EsmeraldaIris36 i took everything inside from my balcony and locked myself for a couple of hours (waiting the lightnings to end - never ending! -) :D
Now that's a storm. Seems the whole Northern hemisphere is suffering in the heat. Its been the same way here in New York, but we haven't gotten any good storms like that, mainly because the cold fronts fall apart by the time they get here.
@PinePowerLI There's been plenty of storms in other parts of Finland this year and we've been panting and sweating all summer in Helsinki watching dismayed as the storms have just passed us by. Which is kind of funny too, as usually Helsinki weather is far from stable and we tend to get all the shitty weather especially when we don't want it. :-)

I live in canada, we get bad storms but I've not seen one like this in some years. :/
