Dont get it.

It looks nice and would be a great unit, if it did what it was built to do.

I dont know if it was build flaws or OS flaws, but I was experiencing malfunctions of different types everywhere.

Including but not limited to the echo, the pitch controls and the RCA outs.

They'll answer emails quickly, but they wont offer any answers other than directing you to DL the manual.

The website has not been updated in 2 years and they dont support the OS upgrade function.

If you just buy the dmix600 can you just put some speakers on it and it makes sound or do you need to conect it to all does cables?

You need an amp & spesakers as it just has a built in pre-amp, just like a normal dj mixer

no those cables are from the two other dj decks standing there, going INTO the mixer

the dmix itself with it's own decks has only one cable - the master - going OUT

+a headphone connection etc.

I want a dj product like this- inexpensive, light, but a reliable one. I've read up alot about it crashing constantly... Whats up with that? Also i found a couple other products like it...The Numark idj2 or the Gemini CDMP-5000 do you have suggestions?

cortex is a good unit, and you can always get new updates off the web, for bugs like that, or other goodies. 400 quid, it's an awesome unit

With just one USB Storage (pen Drive) connected u can maipulate files in deck one and deck two, cortex let u play the files storage in one USB to the both jogs at single time...?

Here i use two denon s1200 and behringer mixer, my doubt to substitute that is not the sync man, its the functionality...

Yes, with just one drive or iPod you can play/manipulate songs on both decks

I think buy vci 100 or 300 (here cost 100=U$1000 and 300=U$2100) and Dmix 300 = U$850 and Dmix 600=U$1000....

I like a lot dmix600 because u dont need to take the Notebook togheter, however, to do turntablism its more difficult...

Ya there both the same the words on the jog wheel are Cortex lk the brand logo. it is touch sensitive as well the ones with no words on it are probably just the manufacturers model.

i love this. the DJ is good. but the mixer is better.
