daniel craig and pierce brosnan are my favorite bonds. Daniel Craig is the perfect alpha male, rough, strong and still charming, the ultimate modern man with balls. Pierce Brosnan is the funnier bond, a true movie goodguy that appear invincible and never does anything wrong, he's good at anything. and manages to destroy hordes of enemies without breaking a sweat. Both are great in the different kinds of Bonds they portray. The fact my two fav bonds are the two latest bonds is coincidence.

Daniel Craigs Bond is the first believable ass kicker out of all the others. Connery seemed slow, more of a brawler, Lanzby Moore, and Dalton all seemed cartoonish. Brosnan brought respect back to the role, but he still wan't a believable ass kicker.

Daniel suited the role but they went too far trying to make them like the bourne series now

Casion royale and Quantium of solace was shit , this isnt the music from casino royale, the problem is the two new bond films soon to be 3rd with daniel craig as bond is that it lacks this music when it all kicks off in bits of the film, the older james bonds were by far better than daniel craig walking about pissed off in QoS because of a women that died in the previous film and has the expressions of a half inflated rubber dingy . This is not what i'd call a bond film or Daniel craig a Bond.

One thing I noticed about the newer Bond movies (Daniel Criag and even the last few of Pierce Brosnon) was the lack of this theme playing. I loved watching a lot of the Roger Moore ones in the theater and it was great hearing this theme blasting away in the darkness of the theater. Note to the makers of the new ones, please put the theme back in Bond.

i think after quantum of solace they should wait a while (since the company that makes the movies is bankrupt anyway), and then get some director like J.J Abrams to reboot the franchise once again. He did it with Star Treck in 2009, and see how that turned out! J.J. knows what makes a franchise special, and hones in on those special attributes to make a good (often feel good) movie
