readjust your timing but when you do advance it it will cause your idle to go up then readjust the idle by the throttlebody to match the manufacture specs but plug the scanner in so you will no how rich your running to properly get the best mixture of gas and air

get a Diagnostic Scanner (you can rent one from autozone for free) or stop by autozone and have them do one for free. It will tell you exactly why your car is doing that. Its simple to use, plug it in under your steering wheel. I did it today, found out my Crankshaft Position Sensor needs replaced.
