When I heard this song, I got that it was on the cusp of something that was taboo, but that it was about dealing with same sex feelings didn't occur to me .

All in all a brilliant song.

I'd like to point out that this was the quality of what was POP music in our time. And it was great.

I love this track! I'm a pretty solid Pet Shop Boys fan but I gotta say, Very is probably their most coherent and musically developed album. After this genius album it was pretty much all down hill for them musically. My favorite track is The Theater...brilliant!

Will always treasure PSB as they were prolific while I was growing up. This is probably the last great hit they released which ended their golden era and run of consistently high standard of singles. Still great to have them around today; their work inspires many new acts - you can't beat a bit of PSB magic!

I love PSB, but I feel like their video's, esp later ones like this, missed the "Story" part of what they lyrics are talking about.

Like, unless you were on LSD and didn't care what you were doing, this video would rock. Otherwise, it sucks.

What would be better is if this was done in a 1940's "Film Noir" style with heavy "Pulp Fiction" overtones to it. Let's see the actions of this slut and how the guy is reacting to them.....esp where ti says "Do you want revenge?".

Actually madcapromanian , the song is about a guy who doesnt accept that he has bisexual tendencies , and wants to continue with his girlfriend , who by the way notice he is kind of gay...so this song is about another gay guy telling him to be truthfull with his orientation

I loved this song and still do but I absolutely hated the video. Though I've always had a love/hate thing with computer graphics. I believe graphics should support or enhance and not take over a video. Specially when it's all random meaningless crap that has no sypbolic meaning what so ever. I fell in love with this song when I heard it on their CD but then was sickened when I saw how crapy this video was.
