this is a great video... i have listened to the Cathedrals since i was little, but the first time i saw them in concert was just after Scott joined the group. i mention this to say, that seeing both Scot and Ernie for the first time, i thought Scott was much 'cuter' than Ernie. (no offense intended to anyone, and i do think he is a great singer, but i have always thought that Ernie was very overrated)

Scott is one of the best singers in Southern Gospel music today!!!!!! He learned from the absolute best!!! He is one of only two Baritone/ Leadsingers in southern gospel music to win favorite baritone and favorite leadsinger in their career... The only other one is the man he learned his trade from, the legend Glen Payne!!!!

And that's the problem I have with Ernie. It's his looks that has everyone so wrapped up in him ... a good singer? Yes.

Overrated? Without a shadow of a doubt.

There are so many names I can put before his: Danny, Kirk, Mack, and so many others from various groups.
