My understanding is that the US selling the raw materials (like a 3rd world country) to China, who produce it for hell cheap and resell it back to America. This kind of system can work out as long as the US consumers have money to buy it. Due to regression, Americans can't afford to buy stuff even if it is made in China. Chinese get layout. Price may rise. American consumers as well as companies will suffer more. Then the gov give them bailouts on the back of the US consumers through taxes
