Come on Stew you can do better than that. Metchosin isn't the worst kind of sprawl. The worst kind of sprawl destroys the environment and destroys habitat. Metchosin has some great parks, no stop lights or traffic congestion. A lot of people grow their own food or have home businesses, and there's a sense of community. Metchosin isn't the kind of place you feel you need to escape. Pavement EVERYWHERE encourages people to constantly drive. You can't throw around words you yourself can't grasp.
