They're not "jokes," LxLight is a pairing, and you have no proof he's not gay. In fact, it seems somewhat likely, as the author herself has said "Light could never fall in love with a woman." I think she meant that Light's too into himself to love anyone else, but you never know. It's called a fandom, sweetie. You're on youtube- get used to it.
