the shrine/ an arguement is the culmination of a break up between his long term partner. The 4 parts of the song consist of reflection, frustration, anger and solitude. Its amazing....and sad.
My least favorite track off the new album, but great in its own right. If you haven't already, go listen to The Shrine/An Argument...easily the greatest Foxes composition yet to be released. This album is an easy 10/10.
This should be re-titled to "Bitter Dancer/The Plains" when you think about it.
