Two reasons: I have always thought it would be really neat to be a drum major of a British/Canadian Band and to be able to march down the street as the "lord of all he surveys". The second reason is more important. I know Dave Rennie personally

Nice clear video...thanks for this formerdoc. I really like the first march, Mon Ami. I heard it played when in Ottawa this summer. But I am wondering why the video concentrates almost totally on the DM rather than the band and Guards.

The march is "Mon Ami" and is also played at the first part of the Aug 11 Changing of the Guard. the best view without camera shake is from the entire 11 Aug video
