  • THE OMEGA CRUSADE will keep the Faith! Take up the crusade at:

    theomegacrusade.blogspot.com

  • Google ... "Star Wars and the History of Vatican II"

  • could someone please summarize the fourth period of the Vatican Council II?

  • Protestants, the name says it all. No need to explain the faults of Protestants.

  • Vatican II was Satan's door into the destruction of the Church from within. As bad as things are in the Church at the moment, good will overcome and we'll see a new council in the future to undo Vatican II errors.

  • Europe was defeated by Jewry in ww2. No wonder.

  • 1. REMEMBER CHRIST IS GOD

    2. OUR LADY, NOT THE "LORD OF THE BIBLE" IS IN THE TRINITY (FATIMA SECRET)

    3. THE HOLY GHOST IS THE FATHER OF THE TRINITY (THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A CURSE / BAPTISM OF FIRE/SPIRITUAL MARK OF THE BEAST)

    4. THE "COMING" JEWISH JESUS IS THE JUDEO-MASONIC MESSIAH. DO NOT BOW DOWN.

THESE "4 BEASTS" WILL KILL YOUR SALVATION

    FATIMAMOVEMENT d o t c o m

And that is how you defeat the Illuminati, by preserving the keys of St. Peter that have been stolen over 1700 years!!!

  • Wow... how about a link to part II or something? I came here to learn about Vatican II, and the phrase wasn't mentioned once. It would be helpful to know how the history provided here tied in to the subsequent Vatican II. Surely there must be more...?

(Sorry, didn't mean to sound gripe-y.)

  • If you think the Church has serious problems today, you don't know much about Church History. The Church has faced numerous difficulties in her 2,000 yr history. If you want to know what really happened in the aftermath of Vatican 2, the answer lies in the vision given to Pope Leo XIII nearly 100 yrs before the Council. But one thing is certain: The gates of hell will never prevail against Christ's Church.

  • The Secular New Order is in with Vatican II. By worshipping the Masonic Trinity, they are no longer Catholic. In fact, there is no official Catholic Church anymore- they are Judeo-Masonic. This is why it's an Apocalypse- Lucifer has won. The Authentic Third Secret of Fatima was released in April, we are in the final 70 weeks of Daniel. FATIMAMOVEMENT d o t c o m has all the documents that prove the Lord is not the Catholic god, Our Lady is in the Trinity, the Holy Ghost is the Father. JC is God.

  • @fatimamovement

Lucifer has not won, Our Lady is not in the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is not the Father, but is equal with the Father and the Son, and three Persons together are the Trinity: one in essence, three distinct persons, one God.

The great champion of devotion to Mary, St Louis de Montfort, said that Our Lady is less than an atom compared to God, (all created beings are such) nevertheless She is the greatest in heaven after God, and Her glory is greater than all angels and saints.

  • The "new-Mass" is not invalid. But it is sure is Ugly. Our Immigrant-ancestors(USA)

built their Churches from the valid-Liturgical-Perspective of The Communion of Saints as the Manifestation of the Body of Christ & the celebratory-decor of a fiesta(FEAST-DAY).They worked & sacrificed a lot to build THE-CHURCH. Our Churches were colorful-Celebrations of Hope & Happiness, surrounded with the images of our Family of Saints as one Body of Christ. Sure,VAT-2 is valid but it sure is ugly, ugly, ugly

  • Vatican ii ,was & still is a Liturgical-Trojan-Horse that makes the priest the center of the Liturgy rather than the Body of Christ as the full Communion of Saints. As a kid in the 1960s we were endlessly nagged into thinking that the priests had conspired to turn their backs on us,& that the greatest thing since the incarnation was going to be able to see their priestly-faces praying with-us. Talk about a "RED-HERRING".The mass was already translated into English .& so the MASS became a MESS.

  • If they keep going and allowing Muslim immigration in France they will be a Muslim

    state as will Belgium.

  • I guess I just fail to see the "deep crisis" that VII ushered in. Do you have to be old enough to have lived beforehand to understand it? Maybe that's it. Maybe I don't have a reference to compare it to but it just seems to me that everyone crying about VII and claiming the new mass is invalid are focusing too much on the external. So what? the alter was turned around, so what, it's not in latin and we can understand it. doesn't seem that bad to me...

  • i like this info. it's not razzle dazzle but it gets the point across and it's useful. thanx

  • SALVE. CVII.

  • He's very conservative indeed, out of St. louis University and of like mind to Fr Fessio, SJ of the Ave Maria Univ events of recent note...

  • @CFinNaples Like most, you're not aware that anyone who supports Vatican II is not a conservative, thus Novus Ordo "conservatives" like those you mention are in fact not conservatives. No, anyone who says "Vatican II was good, but what went wrong was its implementation" is not a conservative. A conservative says, "Vatican II was poisonous, thus its implementation was bound to be poisonous." Read: Iota Unum. Also read: The Rhine Flows Into the Tiber. Also read: Open Letter to Confused Catholics.

  • Who is this guy, and just what (and where?) is "International Catholic University? Never heard of it. No doubt, it is some conservative, right wing, anti-Vatican II school. So many things this supposed "historian" says is wrong. The Church was hardly "healthy" when John XXIII called the Vatican Council into session. Latin was dead, the laity were treated like sheep, and the Church was verging on obsolescence.

  • @markmh835

I realize this is an old thread and you may have forgotten your last post, but Dr. Hitchcock is a professor of history at St. Louis University.

Calling him a "conservative, right wing, anti-Vatican II school" Catholic is not relevant to his background.

His approach to the Second Vatican Council is actually balanced, neither hyper-traditionalist nor hyper-liberal.

International Catholic University is based in Notre Dame, IN but it only provides Internet "distance learning".

  • The Pope has as much authority as any other man in Heaven, NONE. If people read their Bibles more, a lot of this confusion could be avoided. All are saved through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, if they choose to accept it. However, it is up to the individual to understand what that relationship means, by reading the Bible. The POPE is a human being thus he is flawed. You have the ability to read this message, so use that GOD-given ability to build a relationship with YOUR Heavenly Father.

  • Vatican II is the saddest period in Catholic history. It has brought about a destruction on a scale not previously known. No one can point out why this Council was supposed to be necessary. No one can give a valid reason why this had to happen. What was wrong with the old Church? probably the council has done more bad than good. Church is in a deep crisis.

  • Do research in Church History. The Church has been under extreme conservative control since Pius X. Pius XII was perhaps the last very authoritarian Pope. In the words of Fr. Bausch "He walked alone, ate alone, and took his own council" a true testament to the Fotress Mentality. Vatican 2 opened up the church from great sense of Isolation, directing the Church as it is and away from the Grip of the Roman Curia. Change was needed. Just study the history and it will be clear.

  • @lithopoonwit It may have happened abuses, but c´mon... have faith!! Don´t you know the Church is guided by the Holy Spirit? Trust in God! Don´t judge history by your (our) limited vision... God bless you!

  • @lithopoonwit That's nonsense. Vatican II was the most human, sincere, and faithful move our Church ever made.

  • @hopkins4545 it was not a sincere move. it was an attack on the Church from within, an attempt to destroy the holy sacraments, especially the holy Mass. it has caused severe damage, and we would all be better off, if this whole "council" was declared a pastoral synode, nothing more. by the way, this is what Pope Paul VI has declared in 1968 as teacher of the entire Church (ex-cathedra); he declared in front of all the Cardinals , that this Council was NOT a dogmatic council.

  • @lithopoonwit Not only are you erring on some most serious points about a change our dearly departed Holy Father made, I think you should take a look at the Cathechism and decide whether or not you want to be a Catholic. Because, truth be told, right now you are not one and are engaging in heresy.

  • @hopkins4545 the theologians of vatican 2 were the real heretics. the hijack of the Holy Catholic Church, the birth of the vatican 2 sect, and the great Apostasy are unmistakeable sign's of the End time. People have to choose now between the world and Jesus Christ.

  • @lithopoonwit I pray that you will return to Christ's Church on earth. Bless you.

  • @lithopoonwit yeah try to tell that to all the Novos Ordo peoeple and Priests how sad indeed.

  • @lithopoonwit

The old church was arrogant and had a culture of backing itself against the people it was supposed to serve. The old church got into bed with General Franco against the Spanish peasants, helped some wanted Nazi's get to South America via the Odessa Line. Burned "heretics" at the stake. Even covered up rampant sexual abuse of boys by the clergy. If Luther was around today, he would probably have more than 95 grievences to nail to the church door. The church needs Vatican III.

  • @Videx19 There are many other churches that burned people as heretics such as Anglicans, Eastern Orthodox, Calvinists. This does not mean we should critcize them. Many other churches molest children, and people act like that's part of our ceremony, the pope's doing the best he can, and teachers molest children, should we criticize the DofE? And you convenientally forgot the Popes who opposed it. If Luther was here today, he'd be locked up for the things he said about Jews. So yeah...

  • @lithopoonwit How about lack of understanding? How about congregations who had no idea what they were praying. Mass was more homework than a rite. Outside of mass, there was the superiority complex. The comparison of a Pope to an Emperor or the Church lecturing to world. Bishop Karol Wojtyla, later Pope John Paul II took part in this council and pushed towards human dignity in the church. What crisis is the church in now that is the Councils fault?

  • @lithopoonwit If only it were a crisis of the Church it would be bad enough, but the truth is much worse. Vatican II brought about a different religion all together, in my opinion. The popes, cardinals and priests of today comit heresies on a regular daily basis that no Saint or Martyr of old would accept at the point of death. It was a complete coup-d'etat and not a major change.

  • Catholicism is the douchiest sect of Christianity out there.. Jesus was against riches and building giant temples. The vatican is so anti-jesus, it's ridiculous. If Jesus truly was who he says he was, and if there is truly a god, I suspect the first thing he does when he comes back is take a big giant squat, right on that city state.

  • Yes...not to mention the millions of hours and dollars of charity, aid work and humanitarian aid given by members of the Catholic Church - this Church must go!

  • without catholicism there would be no christianity and if you are of european desecent up to reformation all your ancestors were catholic. roibeard

  • the new testament that you talk about was approved by the catholic church at the council of nicea in the 300'sand your right jesus did found the catholic church .you are peter the rock on which i'll build my church.

  • Comment removed

  • The truth is that Luther took what he pleased from the Holy Catholic Church. But he left the deuterocanonicals, but his disciples fought between themselves since the beginning.

Now we have 30 000 + Protestant sects and counting. Jesus asked Paul , why do you prosecute me? and he was prosecuting the church.

  • @ixtoc999 The word is "persecute," not "prosecute."

  • @Jitpring Thanks, brother in Christ. Point taken.

  • @ixtoc999 Protestantism is plain stupid. Period.

  • Find the word BIBLE in the bible?

  • Correct, except that nothing of the kind happened at Nicaea!

  • I don't agree with most of the facts he says, for instance, how is it possible that he builds his opinion on popes according to looks. John XXIII was fat... Ridiculous

  • So far nothing is controversial - and he didnt build on John being fat, he merely mentioned that Pius and John were very different in a lot of aspects.

  • This is a very good series. I like the way the teacher builds up his course.

  • Yeah The ENd Time Popes ARE HERETICS Just Like what The BIBLE Prophecised In The Book Of REVELATIONS!

The Church Was Made By Prophets and JESUS And It Still Is But SADLY THE END TIME ANTICHRIST POPES WILL DESTROY AND CHANGE IT FORM THE INSIDE!

    GET ENLIGHTENED PEOPLE!

    THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON!

IF SOMEONE DID SOMETHING WRONG ITS NOT GOD'S PLAN BUT THE OUTCOME OF HUMAN'S FREEWILL!

ANd One of the evil Outcomes of human Freewill is WRONG CHOICES AND WRONG DECISIONS AND EVIL RULERS!

  • Will you have this complete series up?
