and photographer nick knight. bourdin was and is one of the true greats.all these films were shot during stills shoots.
he was clearly an image obsessive. shooting movie 16mm and super 8. polaroid. 35mm stills and medium format on jobs. todays so called greats are sheep in comparison.
Someone else must've assembled this footage because most of the music is by Microstoria which released their music long after Mr. Bourdin's death. Just in case anyone was wondering....
I've just started getting into Guy Bourdin, but I've becoming a big fan of his work since I got about his book "A Message For You" after reading about it on that site JuliB. As someone from a more "artistic" background, I'm just starting to recognize that some of these cats in the more commercial world can also be great artists at the same time.
and her name is Dayle Haddon, not Haydon.
