I've shot deer from 300 yards with this rifle, (yes, jacketed rounds!) and the entrance wound is no bigger than a pencil, but the exit wound is a hole you could stick your fist in! I think the first shot hit him in the chest but didn't kill him so next was the head shot from what looks like was also in front and to the right of the car and at the same time was the shot from behind the went through his neck and hit connally in the back. The shine and the hand are in two different places and the weapon is not shinning but you can see someone in the driver's seat pointing something towards the back.

@auralstream I know what your saying,but if you look at the movement of the driver and the injury from the shot at the same time, it sure is coincidence it happened at the exact moment If you hear a shot, you are going to be looking seconds afterwards, not at the exact time.But then there was a first shot coming from the opposite direction. Anyway it is very sad and they have rehashed this over and over for 48 years and not to mention all the money the shows made with interviews.

I'm assuming he might have been gurgling blood and/or making some obvious sign of distress, which is when the driver looks back to see what's happened. Kennedy was in a relatively stationary position to make that 2nd shot possible. 1st shot just got the driver's attention and the 2nd happened to follow shortly after.

I think the first shot hit him in the chest but didn't kill him so next was the head shot from what looks like was also in front and to the right of the car and at the same time was the shot from behind the went through his neck and hit connally in the back. I think they used three different people to shoot him with what were three potentially lethal shots so even if the shooters were caught authorities wouldn't be able to tell which persons shot killed JFK

Notice that at frame 313, exactly when JFK is hit in the head, John Connally is THROWN FORWARD, his head hits the back of the front seat and he bounce back a little then he slump into his wifes lap.
