Awesome video. This is clear evidence of the teaching "divine right of kings" that has polluted the Torah and has twisted it into what it is today. This is not in the Restored Original Scriptures that was uncovered in Iraq 10 years ago. In other words, I do not read from the Bible anymore. More than just a Christian, I am a YAHUWan, a follower of Almighty Loving YAH of All Creation, YAHUWAH the King and YAHUW the Savior.
Also just to support @YesYou123333 you should do some videos on the Koran (also known as the Qu'ran). It's a very interesting read, the structure is also rather different to the bible and the effect it has had on the Islamic legal system is both pluralistic and highly interesting. I'm not expecting anything soon but if you begin reading and researching you could produce something quite good on the subject. :)
@religiontoday - (cont) this means whilst it's going to be convincing for say atheists and some agnostics, for those who really know scripture and know their theology, you won't affect them. You miss the NT - so you completely miss the grace and love foundation that Christians and the bible is based upon. effectively Christian's look at the OT through NT eyes if you like. Thought you may be interested to know this. Peace be with you and have a great day :)
@religiontoday - (cont) So yeah, basically much of the OT becomes largely redundant for Christians in terms of following it. Whilst the commandments are there and there's lots of laws, Jesus shows the interpretation of those old laws and grace redeems people, liberating them from the old law. It's just a very summed up theological point that's worth making because you're video is good, it makes sense but it really misses the NT and so doesn't really focus on the bible (cont)
@religiontoday - (cont.) effectively it is an encouragement to slaves to take strength and make the best of a bad situation. An instance which shows that christians should not have slaves can be found in Philemon, a very often missed NT book. I'm not trying to knock your reasoning on the OT, just making you aware that to consider the bible you should actually overweight this video to the NT. Christians follow Jesus' teaching, and that is of grace, love and forgiveness. (cont)
@religiontoday - and with reference to my last post, any human who condones slavery, since they're treating their neighbour how they wish to be treated must be willing to become a slave themselves. To truly love your neighbour as you love yourself means you don't ever have slaves, period. Also Collosians says what it does because christianity's meant to be peaceful and caring. To respect one's master is to have a servant heart, so whilst suffering in this life one is rewarded in the next (cont.)
@religiontoday You've not really dealt with the bible here, giving only a very brief mention of collosians. This mainly seems like a deconstruction of the OT, so basically you've de-constructed the Torah. You have had absolutely no bearing on Jesus' teachings. You've not taken the two major laws he lays out. To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. To love your neighbour as yourself. Given the meaning of neighbour means fellow human, who would back slavery?
the state owns you...you are an asset by which the govt acquires loans, and you farm yourself out to companies. you do not keep the fruits of your labor... so, you ARE a slave. the government controles you, farms you out to companies, and in the event they want to punish you, they can do so, up to and including rendition, torture and death. dream on free boy..there always have been slaves, and there always will be..
This video was well done. There is nothing that can be said that would justify slavery. Churches , or at least the ones i attended, would never touch this subject. A loving, caring God would not condone these acts. The crazy thing is most Christians say that you must follow the whole Bible since its the inspired Word of God. Good luck going into a neighboring town and ransack someones house and steal a mans wife or virgin daughters. It would be a good way to get a bullet in your head
Does the bible condemn sex with children? If I want to marry a 10 year old girl is that unchristian? (I think that would be sick but was just wondering if the bible bothered to say anything against it). Anybody know?
I think it shpuidl be described what is slavery and only then you can comdemn it.
I personally do not see much difference from when you work for your master who owns you or if you work for bank which also owns you for life. master at least provides you with food and job while bank just demands you to pay money.
If we are born as free people then why other can manage our personal lives? I think that we are all in stronger slavery than any slave was before.
Serco is effectively beginning to run a slave system. The CEO is a fundamentalist christian who attibutes their success to listening to God. People who are unemployed will become the new slave class. As this grows, it could put others out of work, and then they too join this system. Serco is now the biggest multinational company not many have heard of with a finger in a huge number of pies.
This is further proof the Bible comes from the mind of Man. Its cannot be said it is even a work inspired by contemplation of god either. Potentially, the Bible allows good people to do evil things and feel justified about it. or evil people to do evil and escape judgment. The sooner is gone the better. No form of slavery is acceptable, which is generally the opinion of ordinary people.
@religiontoday If you read it, it looks a lot like the Bible when the Israelites are given divine right to conquer the tribes in Canaan. That is because it is meant to be a religion for the non-Jewish Arabs who need patriotism and inspiration for battle and so the Bible contributed to it in part. Mainly it was written down more and more every time Mohommad had an epileptic seizure at the beer table. He took the moon good and made it Allah - "Almighty One".
@religiontoday Hi there I really enjoy this video. There is just one thing that I think it is missing out the fact that God through Moses miracles and signs sets the slaved people of Egypt free. God clearly does not want his people, which we are all children of god, to be slaves. If he did want people to be slaves he never would of had Moses preform miracles and signs in order for them to be released. To slavery God says: Let my people go! God condones freedom from slavery. I'm not a Christian
@religiontoday If anyone was put to slavery they would be considered their enemy's. You would not put someone into slavery unless you hated them. Jesus latter condemns this behaviour by saying to love your enemy's and do good to them. I think it would be nice if you added these points to your video or make a second part :) I'm not a Christian
@Pinage "The fastest and most effective way to de-convert a Christian is to make them read the bible."
Yep.
Funny thing is that ... you would think, if the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE had written a book, that they'd have been interested enough to have read it already.
Actions, or lack of them, speak much louder than words.
@Pinage Agree... I was very Catholic for a long time... I prayed daily... Then in college I started reading the Bible for myself... Genesis to Revelation... About 2/3 through I said to myself what a crock of Sh$T...
@asdfzxcv6901 I tried reading it cover to cover once but couldn't get any further than the tower of babel. It was just too mind-numbingly boring, absurd and poorly written.
@donnomar...your entire argument is based off falicy...you posted the verses b4 about that and even tho he never said that,in your mind..you take it as rape....but thats not what it meant i dont know how the fuck that adds up to God allowing rape or even saying that in your head.......he cleary said either marry or leave her.....as for the humiliation part,u just assume thats what he mean...study hebrew asshole b4 i accuse me of making shit up...only you do that
@donnomar...first..calm the fuck down, only one good for telling lies and making shit up is u!...like that whole shit about God saying rape..unless he said rape...unless those words came out his mouth then your a fucking lying idiot...im done listening to your weak pathetic ass b.s about justifying your weak ass claims...God never said that point blank...thats what your implying..God said maryy her..n if not let her Go!!! your not gonna twist it up with illogical b.s and expect me to believe it
I have a question!!! Do most fundamentalist Christians, like evangelicans believe in the old testament as well as the new testament or just the new testament????? Also props to you for trying to do your best to not offend people, but instead simply showing passages that are problematic with today moral standards!
I love it when you challenge a Christian and have the proof (the bible in your hands) in balck and white, the words of God right in front of them they excuse it and maniluplate it to suit their own agenda, you can never win against a creationist they love the war of words
@religiontoday..look it up!!!damn..im not gonna fuckin argue you dude,i could literally go all fuckin night at it with you, dont ever tell me i dont know what im talking aboout, are you crazy? i actually read the bible, something you should do for your self instead of goin to youtube for answers dude
@religiontoday..uh no you dont know what the hell your talkin about dude.read your fuckin bible and stop takin everythin sum guy on youtube says as truth.i know ur next comment"and the bible is truth?"...smh god or no god..slavery did exist back then but the slave chose to be a slave and laws were made to protect that slave any one who took a slave against the will of the servant was punished
@billy5939 Some of the slavery in the Bible was voluntary, some was not. Much was not and much was not for welfare purposes. There are separate rules for Hebrew slaves and others. Women were captured as war "booty" and "spoil," not as charity cases. Foreigners were bought as property. They could be sold, inherited, and beaten – a typical system of human bondage. As long as the slave didn’t die within a couple days, the master was not punished, because the slave is property.
also too! that was how free citizens were treated also..being beaten by a rod was a common punishment for wrong doers in those days enforced by the community elders, and fathers applied it to their unruly sons,so using a rod on a slave would be common,if not customary.but if the slave died the owner had to be punished but if the slave did not die the owner would not be punished(killed)
slavery of the bible benefited the slave.children were benefited by being sold into slavery due to the fact that the child would be taken care of,well fed,and housed, and clothed.what parent wouldnt send their kid off to live comfortable? if i had to choose between havin my kid starve,be cold and poor or send him to be taken care of and have a good life,id choose the latter
@billy5939 what if you are a teenage girl, and "the people of god" kills your father, mother and brothers, rape you and dump cause he doesn't like you anymore. All becasue his god told him it was allright to do it. Would you still be happy?
@donnomar name a scripture where God told his people to rape and kill teen girls parent and then rape her.your just bullshitting but i read my bible..never saw one verse that said God condoned raping
@billy5939 Why you ask me? I see some people gave you the reference before me! Read!
Start with Deuteronomy 20 & 21 to begin with
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword, But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee. Deut 20:13
And you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you desire to take her to be your wife; Deut 21:11
But if you no longer delight in her, you shal let her go where she wants. But you shall not sell her for money, nor shall you treat her as a slave, since you have humiliated her.. Deut 21:14
Basically in a war if you find a pretty girl you can have her for a few days, rape her, and when you don't like her anymore you can dump her... so what part don't you understand?
@donnomar why didnt you read the entire verse and the rest of em leading up to it.you skipped and left out a lot to intentionally try and deceive me into going along with your half witted misinterpretation of what those verses were actually saying, but of course you would see it that way.....1:its written in hebrew....2:learn jewish and greek customs.....3:how do you right now kid?"what part dont i undertsand"....are you doped up or coced up? you got rape, and dumping her out of that???? smfh
@donnomar ppl like you are atheists through sheer lack of understanding of biblical text and fail to see that what you said made zero sense just now buddy.i got (no killing of women n children)...i got (take the spoils of your enemies-money,clothes,swords,ect)...i got(if you find a n you like marry her).....i got(if you dont like her let her go on her merry way).....not ONCE did he use or even imply rape! dumping her like in modern times!.....or have her for a few day..HE SAID MARRY HER!
@billy5939 you know what,i insulted you,ive been doing that alot lately outta lack of patients and anger n lack of understanding myself but u didnt come out that way to me..im sorry man...
@billy5939 do you believe that a girl want to spent the rest of her life attached to the man who raped her? are you stupid?
and above all you believe that marriage compensate for the relatives killed? you are just an idiot not even able to create a valid argument. it is useless to discuse... so stop writing me
@donnomar like it or not was wat it was....and i said raping was punishable by death, not marriage,ur a fucking crack headed fool lol go hang urself in a closet already...n quit ur butt hurt bitchin..i dont care if you dont agree or believe its right..because child molesters believe their morally correct..but the only one pure is God,you dont count you either do or dont..peace idiot
@donnomar the word rape is never implied..oh n homosexuality i learned recently is also not how it was back then....look up shrine prostitues and homosexuality....
@billy5939 you don't need to use the word rape, same as George Bush doesn't use the world torture of pisioners, he use the term "enhanced interrogation" at the end the word is not important, what is important is the message behind. You can read from any bible as long as Deutoromy is there, try modern english bible, you could also try KingJames bible but I'm afraid you will not understand the old english used in there.....
@donnomar modern english bible?? oh boy,i think youd b better off using the hebrew translation.studying the customs and traditions and also tryn the old english out because the words translated into english modern american english, unless you know what your doing it can fuck you up....the text is changed everything...there are different words like two words in hebrew one means kill the other means murder
@donnomar and like i said b4..God said marry her..if displeased or if she does not want you,as in the king james version, let her go to be free to go with another man,and theres a hebrew word for humiliated too..violated that word used in english stems from a hebrew word..but that entire verse doesnt have anything to do with rape at all...it never said that if it did he would probably put to death
@billy5939 man are you stupid or something? you can take a woman each time you want and dump her whenever you are feed up, period! Nothing to stop you doing it again and again, and in old times women and any other possesions were seen as rewards of war.
You killed her whole family, you took her virginity, and then you let her go... where?? non virgin her only exit would be prositution, and non virgin were killed. The bible say keep for you women that never knew men. fucking idiot
@billy5939 rape is having sex with a woman against her will, you killed her entire family! do you believe she is crazy to fuck with you? are you stupid? handicap or just some kind of psycopat?
@billy5939 "if she doesn't want you" where did you read that part? common! that is not there! show me the exact line! you are creating lines are not there! show me the exact line or stop fucking writting!
Nothing mention the opinion of the girl, and don't come with oh it was a bad translation from greek or hebrew! that is bullshitting, i read it in spanish and french and it say the same idea, and if you really want to check it talk to a jew, he will explain you the original hebrew text
@billy5939 i understand old english perfectly well...in fact its how i began reading.and you cant simply assume an alternate message behind a statement.like if i say "im going through the back door"....in your head depending on the way you think you would automatically assume and read that as something perverted or nasty..am i rite? but its not fair or logical to determine that based off that statement or compare bush to these ppl either
@billy5939 man I don't need to use modern english, i read spanish and french, text is the same idea, I hate sutpid people that when cornered look for false arguments like "mistranslation" same message is in the bible in other chapters, are all misstralations? see Numbers 31:17 in example.
Please... kill family, keep virgin girls.. what about non virgin girls or little boys? these are killed. the will of the girl is not important, forget if it is a rape, you just killed her entire family....
@donnomar it is mistranslation you fucking dolt...hebrew meaning is waaaay different from english meaning...like the word adam in hebrew means mankind..ruddy man..look it up dude b4 u attempt to pop shit over youtube about shit you dont know.n wow okay u speak french,u want a gold medal or sumthin?? lol get outta here...your taking it another way like u got rape and dumb out of marry her or if not leave her look im not gonna argue wit u cuz ur obviously full of shit and you dont comprehend
@donnomar and i luv how you tried to imply rape even thought the word was never used, but you assumed it..unless he said it im just not gonna believe you,..its like ok,"enhanced interrogation".....and torture...cool that adds up..but marry her..,take her to be your wife...but if displeased leave her....take her rape her and them dump her.....no no and no....aaannnnnnnnnnt!! try again dont add up in the same sense at all..
@donnomar so no your stupid not me,you need to re-red the bible in its entirety and get the hebrew and greek meaning and culture.....and you need to stop making shit up to suit you and then thinking im dumb enough to believe your retarded ass arguments..tell you what..get at me when you find an actuall verse that says rape and that rape is ok in Gods eyes k??? lmfao idiot..now i am calling you an idiot for that shit
@donnomar i respect arguments and opinions but when you read something and put words in ppls mouths and try to interpret shit and twist words up,assume and imply negative shit like rape..even though the word isnt even used, that just shows that not only do you not comprehend but your logic and thinking is off to get rape and dump from "marry her...ley her go"..last time i checked marry dont mean rape...and dump?? yea id assume hed want him to let her go free to b with another man
@donnomar like divorce too..back in the bible times,u had to have a legal divorce and divorce papers showing that you had let your wife go free of marrage......you had to let her go..look just read the bible or dont read but dont make shit up please...not sure if ur a dude or a chick, either way,its okay to not agree but dont lie and falsely assume either..know your facts because i read the bible..so arguing it is futile
@religiontoday.actually yea, they can if you read the bible.he purposely left out the fact that slavery in bible times, were started by man, however god worked within their system and gave laws and guidelines to protect the slave.also, most slaves were ppl who were poor and had to work off debt, support their families, ect.and it wasnt against their choice either.the ones who did were punished
@billy5939 Yes, the Bible has some good stuff. But you can’t ignore the bad stuff. Your version of biblical slavery cannot be reconciled with the verses mentioned in this video.
it was a means of survival back in those days for poor families with no money.so in exchange for labor, they were given fod and housing.and those rules exist to protect the slave.
also you have to understand that back then during those times,it wasnt like today where have a safety net like government welfare programs for middle easterners in those times who could not support their families and provide a living for themselves,so alot of times, children were sold into slavery to avoid having to starve to death and be exposed to harsh living conditions
exodus 21:16....slavery wasnt bad back then.it was a chose made by the slave and the slave was taken care of and paid.people who kidnapped and sold slaves were punished exodus 21:16....
Biblical verses that demonstrate the condoning of slavery! Wow! Now how did I miss this when I was growing up, reading the Bible and attending the Second Macedonia Baptist Church?
This is a perfect time to declare war on Christians. They created two wars, a depression, and caused millions of people in the north to die of the cold because they had no money. We must fight religion. We must not treat Christians with the same human rights we deserve. Did Christians treat slaves with respect. Now is the time to burn, steel, and take from Christians what is ours, when the government falls.

isn't it amazing how the delusionists, (christians) just ignore all the horrors in the bible, just put it out of their little minds like it isn't there at all. great video thanks alot for posting!
A person can be very well qualified academically in most fields of research, but if Christianity captures and enslaves one’s mind, then one loses direction of the path to truth.
Is this the ravings of a guy who has not done his research?
A deranged God-hater?
Why doesn't he let the accused 'God' speak for itself? (ahr, sorry, for HIMSELF - a marvel of marvels, a supreme being without a womb giving birth to the whole Universe... sorry folks for being so blunt about it).
@peterfaigl There are plenty of us "deranged God-haters" (because hating a being we don't believe exists is such a great use of our time) who would love for God to speak for himself. Many of us have asked for him to do so. Yet, for us, he seems to remain silent.
@drgodsauce It's a misunderstanding... my comment was a tongue-in-cheek irony, an affermative (double negative) style. (There is a proper term to describe this turn of phraze but i can't remember its proper name.)
Is this the ravings of a guy who has not done his research? - NO, IT'S NOT. THIS VID IS EXTREMELY WELL RESEARCHED.
A deranged God-hater? - THERE IS NOT A SHREAD OF HATERED IN THIS VID!
Why doesn't he let the accused 'God' speak for itself? - BUT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HE DOES !
The Bible is the most repulsive, disgusting and downright evil book on the face of this planet. I cannot believe this book is even called Holy. Murder, rape, plagues, slavery, racism, death, bloodshed, genocide, fear, hate. You name it, the Bible has it all!
I think you need to take in context that the Bible was written by the hands of man God inspired but whos to say that I man did not change some words in their favor is all im say somewhere down the line...
KJ doesnt use slave in Exodus 21:20 at all but maid or servant. Col 3:22 part a you forget the last part: ;not with eyeservice as manpleasers;but in singleness of heart, fearing god:
@Eskon2 No KJ doesn't, but don't let that mislead you; it means slave, which is why most modern translations have updated the KJV accordingly. I didn't finish Col 3:22 because it was irrelevant to my point that the NT never condemns the practice of slavery, but has multiple passages that perpetuate the practice.
@religiontoday As part of uuse an a or b so they know it is a part.
Also it is irrelevant to your point. But it is relevant in the truth. For it gives an other meaning to obey. The word servant or 'dienstknecht' is good since these slaves are part of the family.
@religiontoday Also 2:45 it sounds like only the woman and kid remain property. Also note that the marryin was suplied by the owner. A slave with poor moneyskills could marry this way, granting the master service for a longer time.
Also the music makes me nervous. One video is just not enough to cover this topic very well. Also the rationalizing isnt good. Slavery isnt banished but discrimination Exo. 21:16 Timothy in general etc.
@Eskon2 Its not meant to be an exhaustive study of slavery. Its meant to counter all the desperate apologetic efforts to mask and excuse the immorality found in the Bible.
@Eskon2 No. There are more mild aspects of biblical slavery, but they don't negate the aspects that I have shown. Slavery is inherently bad. Do you think slavery is moral? If not, why do you think it is immoral?
@religiontoday The things you have shown are quite flawed. Also concidering that if you kill a slave that you get killed too is not seen today. slavery as the people of Israel was forced to do is immoral, for they were free man, and they tried murdering the babys. There are aspects immoral, but the moral part was common in jewish society. Why else would a whole nation trick the invading Israelites and choose to become slaves? And what about Timothy? What about Josef and Daniël?
@religiontoday 'flawed' That here are texts who use servants insteed of slaves, wrong translation used.
You cant define when a slave dies 2 days later. Steeling people is immoral because it is defiling freedom. Also see the ten commandments do not kill and do not steal.
@Eskon2 I don't understand your points. Send me a message if you would like to elaborate your argument, but if you are under the impression that there isn't slavery in the Bible, you are mistaken.
@religiontoday I think you mistake me, and that going on myself will confuse you more. Read the bible correctly compare it to their neighbours read books on it.
@religiontoday Books that compare the laws of hamurabi to the bible. The quaran. slavery by another name. Power, faith fantasy. The legend of arab-Islam in Africa. The Truth About the Catholic Church and Slavery. Slavery in Bible times. Slavery in the Middle Ages.
@religiontoday The abolition of the slave trade: Christian conscience and political action. Slavery and the Protestant Ethic. What the Bible Really Says. Why Does the Bible Seem to Tolerate the Institution of Slavery? What Does the Bible Really Say about Slavery?
Don't forget the sex slaves. God commands kidnapping little girls as slaves after killing their parents and families: Numbers 31:17,18 "Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who hath known a man by lying with him. But all the women children, who have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." They kidnapped 32,000 little girls that time! And a portion were given as slaves to the Levitical PRIESTS! (Verse 30)
I don't know what's more grotesque: the Bible clearly condoning slavery or Christian apologists justifying reprehensible crimes as gestures of generosity and grace?
Don't these Christians know that slavery is wrong no matter what kind of spins they put into? Will they ever admit that slavery is wrong? I can see that these are the same kinds of people who supported and justified slavery back in the day.
in the beginning the big nothing created the heavens and the earth.and nothing said i have created something out of nothing..so in the end the something like me. will be nothing.
Excellent video sir. I find it mind boggling that people will claim the divine authority of the book, yet when we point out something like the approvals of slavery they say we pick and choose or we are misinterpreting it. It's like arguing with a tree. Seriously, thank you for posting this. :)
No they are worse than slaves, they are mare creations, puppets, like Pinocchio. And according to their immorally superior imaginary friend they can be compared also to sheep.
The Bible is the word of God, but it was tampered.
Lost of changes in to the Bible.

Does the bible condemn sex with children? If I want to marry a 10 year old girl is that unchristian? (I think that would be sick but was just wondering if the bible bothered to say anything against it). Anybody know?

@Pronghorn22 Well, according to the bible if you rape her(regardless of age) you may marry her but you must pay 50 shekels to her father.
Or you can go to your neighboring town and destroy the whole town kill all males and take the virgin girls as slaves.
baldurus1 7 months ago

@religiontoday..uh no you dont know what the hell your talkin about dude.read your fuckin bible and stop takin everythin sum guy on youtube says as truth.i know ur next comment"and the bible is truth?"...smh god or no god..slavery did exist back then but the slave chose to be a slave and laws were made to protect that slave any one who took a slave against the will of the servant was punished
billy5939 1 year ago
@billy5939 Some of the slavery in the Bible was voluntary, some was not. Much was not and much was not for welfare purposes. There are separate rules for Hebrew slaves and others. Women were captured as war "booty" and "spoil," not as charity cases. Foreigners were bought as property. They could be sold, inherited, and beaten – a typical system of human bondage. As long as the slave didn’t die within a couple days, the master was not punished, because the slave is property.
underwearraisin 1 year ago
also too! that was how free citizens were treated also..being beaten by a rod was a common punishment for wrong doers in those days enforced by the community elders, and fathers applied it to their unruly sons,so using a rod on a slave would be common,if not customary.but if the slave died the owner had to be punished but if the slave did not die the owner would not be punished(killed)

@donnomar name a scripture where God told his people to rape and kill teen girls parent and then rape her.your just bullshitting but i read my bible..never saw one verse that said God condoned raping
billy5939 9 months ago
@billy5939 Why you ask me? I see some people gave you the reference before me! Read!
Start with Deuteronomy 20 & 21 to begin with
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword, But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee. Deut 20:13
donnomar 9 months ago
@billy5939
And you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you desire to take her to be your wife; Deut 21:11
But if you no longer delight in her, you shal let her go where she wants. But you shall not sell her for money, nor shall you treat her as a slave, since you have humiliated her.. Deut 21:14
Basically in a war if you find a pretty girl you can have her for a few days, rape her, and when you don't like her anymore you can dump her... so what part don't you understand?
donnomar 9 months ago
@donnomar why didnt you read the entire verse and the rest of em leading up to it.you skipped and left out a lot to intentionally try and deceive me into going along with your half witted misinterpretation of what those verses were actually saying, but of course you would see it that way.....1:its written in hebrew....2:learn jewish and greek customs.....3:how do you right now kid?"what part dont i undertsand"....are you doped up or coced up? you got rape, and dumping her out of that???? smfh

billy5939 9 months ago
@billy5939 you don't need to use the word rape, same as George Bush doesn't use the world torture of pisioners, he use the term "enhanced interrogation" at the end the word is not important, what is important is the message behind. You can read from any bible as long as Deutoromy is there, try modern english bible, you could also try KingJames bible but I'm afraid you will not understand the old english used in there.....
donnomar 9 months ago
@donnomar modern english bible?? oh boy,i think youd b better off using the hebrew translation.studying the customs and traditions and also tryn the old english out because the words translated into english modern american english, unless you know what your doing it can fuck you up....the text is changed everything...there are different words like two words in hebrew one means kill the other means murder
billy5939 9 months ago
@donnomar and like i said b4..God said marry her..if displeased or if she does not want you,as in the king james version, let her go to be free to go with another man,and theres a hebrew word for humiliated too..violated that word used in english stems from a hebrew word..but that entire verse doesnt have anything to do with rape at all...it never said that if it did he would probably put to death
billy5939 9 months ago
@billy5939 man are you stupid or something? you can take a woman each time you want and dump her whenever you are feed up, period! Nothing to stop you doing it again and again, and in old times women and any other possesions were seen as rewards of war.
You killed her whole family, you took her virginity, and then you let her go... where?? non virgin her only exit would be prositution, and non virgin were killed. The bible say keep for you women that never knew men. fucking idiot
donnomar 9 months ago
@billy5939 rape is having sex with a woman against her will, you killed her entire family! do you believe she is crazy to fuck with you? are you stupid? handicap or just some kind of psycopat?

donnomar 9 months ago
@billy5939 i understand old english perfectly well...in fact its how i began reading.and you cant simply assume an alternate message behind a statement.like if i say "im going through the back door"....in your head depending on the way you think you would automatically assume and read that as something perverted or nasty..am i rite? but its not fair or logical to determine that based off that statement or compare bush to these ppl either
billy5939 9 months ago
@billy5939 man I don't need to use modern english, i read spanish and french, text is the same idea, I hate sutpid people that when cornered look for false arguments like "mistranslation" same message is in the bible in other chapters, are all misstralations? see Numbers 31:17 in example.
Please... kill family, keep virgin girls.. what about non virgin girls or little boys? these are killed. the will of the girl is not important, forget if it is a rape, you just killed her entire family....
donnomar 9 months ago
@donnomar it is mistranslation you fucking dolt...hebrew meaning is waaaay different from english meaning...like the word adam in hebrew means mankind..ruddy man..look it up dude b4 u attempt to pop shit over youtube about shit you dont know.n wow okay u speak french,u want a gold medal or sumthin?? lol get outta here...your taking it another way like u got rape and dumb out of marry her or if not leave her look im not gonna argue wit u cuz ur obviously full of shit and you dont comprehend
billy5939 9 months ago
@donnomar and i luv how you tried to imply rape even thought the word was never used, but you assumed it..unless he said it im just not gonna believe you,..its like ok,"enhanced interrogation".....and torture...cool that adds up..but marry her..,take her to be your wife...but if displeased leave her....take her rape her and them dump her.....no no and no....aaannnnnnnnnnt!! try again dont add up in the same sense at all..
billy5939 9 months ago
@donnomar so no your stupid not me,you need to re-red the bible in its entirety and get the hebrew and greek meaning and culture.....and you need to stop making shit up to suit you and then thinking im dumb enough to believe your retarded ass arguments..tell you what..get at me when you find an actuall verse that says rape and that rape is ok in Gods eyes k??? lmfao idiot..now i am calling you an idiot for that shit
billy5939 9 months ago
@donnomar i respect arguments and opinions but when you read something and put words in ppls mouths and try to interpret shit and twist words up,assume and imply negative shit like rape..even though the word isnt even used, that just shows that not only do you not comprehend but your logic and thinking is off to get rape and dump from "marry her...ley her go"..last time i checked marry dont mean rape...and dump?? yea id assume hed want him to let her go free to b with another man
billy5939 9 months ago
@donnomar like divorce too..back in the bible times,u had to have a legal divorce and divorce papers showing that you had let your wife go free of marrage......you had to let her go..look just read the bible or dont read but dont make shit up please...not sure if ur a dude or a chick, either way,its okay to not agree but dont lie and falsely assume either..know your facts because i read the bible..so arguing it is futile

This is a perfect time to declare war on Christians. They created two wars, a depression, and caused millions of people in the north to die of the cold because they had no money. We must fight religion. We must not treat Christians with the same human rights we deserve. Did Christians treat slaves with respect. Now is the time to burn, steel, and take from Christians what is ours, when the government falls.

freddyremix 1 year ago
@Eskon2 No KJ doesn't, but don't let that mislead you; it means slave, which is why most modern translations have updated the KJV accordingly. I didn't finish Col 3:22 because it was irrelevant to my point that the NT never condemns the practice of slavery, but has multiple passages that perpetuate the practice.
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday As part of uuse an a or b so they know it is a part.
Also it is irrelevant to your point. But it is relevant in the truth. For it gives an other meaning to obey. The word servant or 'dienstknecht' is good since these slaves are part of the family.
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 Whatever makes you feel better...these "family members" and their offspring could be bought, sold, inherited, and beaten.
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday As could any human. Also when does someone die after 2 days?
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 I'm not sure what you are saying. What do you disagree with in the video?
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday Barbydolls. It is very simplistic.
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 I agree. Using real people would convey the immorality much more forcefully.
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday Also 2:45 it sounds like only the woman and kid remain property. Also note that the marryin was suplied by the owner. A slave with poor moneyskills could marry this way, granting the master service for a longer time.
Also the music makes me nervous. One video is just not enough to cover this topic very well. Also the rationalizing isnt good. Slavery isnt banished but discrimination Exo. 21:16 Timothy in general etc.
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 Its not meant to be an exhaustive study of slavery. Its meant to counter all the desperate apologetic efforts to mask and excuse the immorality found in the Bible.
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday Well thats countering the evidence. the slave storys with the most impact are left out. Try comparing for instance.
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 No. There are more mild aspects of biblical slavery, but they don't negate the aspects that I have shown. Slavery is inherently bad. Do you think slavery is moral? If not, why do you think it is immoral?
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday The things you have shown are quite flawed. Also concidering that if you kill a slave that you get killed too is not seen today. slavery as the people of Israel was forced to do is immoral, for they were free man, and they tried murdering the babys. There are aspects immoral, but the moral part was common in jewish society. Why else would a whole nation trick the invading Israelites and choose to become slaves? And what about Timothy? What about Josef and Daniël?
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 Thanks for the feedback, but I honestly don't really understand what you are saying.
religiontoday 1 year ago
@religiontoday 'flawed' That here are texts who use servants insteed of slaves, wrong translation used.
You cant define when a slave dies 2 days later. Steeling people is immoral because it is defiling freedom. Also see the ten commandments do not kill and do not steal.
Eskon2 1 year ago
@Eskon2 I don't understand your points. Send me a message if you would like to elaborate your argument, but if you are under the impression that there isn't slavery in the Bible, you are mistaken.

Pathetic and disgusting at the same time.
