We're in a society where not everything is done the old fashion way. Discovering music talent is one of them. The show cannot wait for these people to come up with their own music, practice, and then possibly teach them how to play an instrument. I don't watch American Idol, but I just had to comment about this because my boss was really ticked off about the judges. Their family is a family that studied music. They know about pitch and all that. They said that the way Ramiele sang that song was perfect! She hit all her notes and she has the best voice of all the contestants. I guess the judges (don't know their names except Paula) are more for the dramatic type of singing even if the pitch is all wrong!

what made the performance boring? of course what she did was the right emotion for the song.
