yea but you didn't explain the capture of other pieces using en passant. Could a pawn capture a rook, bishop, queen, knight using en passant?

Was there ever any consideration to allow En Passant facility to any other piece's capture authority that would be undermined by a pawn executing a two square first move? Just curious.
