Im English and Rooney deserved a red card. He stamped on Carvalhio. It was amazing to see how everybody managed to put the blame on Ronaldo after this. Its great to see how he dealed with all the critisism which was undesearved and was the Premierships best player.
I agree that ronaldo is the best in england, in my opinion he's the best in the world. The problem in england is we always want an excuse for our failings, and somebody always gets the stick like beckham, ronaldo, mclaren (ok mclaren was an idiot)but we do, and until we realise, we'll have trouble.

sending off was bullshit like. he was injured anyway and far from his best. but he didn't stamp carvalho, no way. that tit should of been looking for the ball like rooney not squirming about on the floor. accidental. england actually played better without him though! portugal couldn't put us to bed with a man up. to be fair both teams fielded less than their best sides that day, due to injuries for england, suspensions for portugal. gud game tho!
