I was a few blocks away when this happened, glad I stayed home... most of them weren't even hockey fans (despite the jerseys- almost everyone was wearing one), they were just young kids who wanted to cause mayhem and get the mob going. Considering how many people were downtown that night it was a minority who rioted- many people were pushing and shoving just to get out of the chaos.
