No, it's not scary but I'm in the Keys and we're used to far worse. Do stay alert for tornado warnings though. They can be a danger during even small tropical storms.
Oh yes, Annabelle is the great protector. One of 16 rescued cats we have. And yes, while we tend to make light of most storms here in the Keys, we do prepare appropriately each time. I'd rather be safe and get to make jokes later.

im actually looking forward to fey "im up in pasco co. so i wont see the storm till tomorrow sometime" its been a while since we had a good storm come through, and this one is pretty weak so there wont be much to worrie about

You cat looks like she'll protect you from the dangerous potted plant. I don't know what she is saying, but she got my cats attention.
