i baught the 2010 wolfman today and looking at that im  glad i didnt wast my money on the original, to them that movies was good but today people like the modern C.G.I. movies, so like most people say the 2010 wolfman was a wast of time i think it was money well spent.

@UniversalHorror That is such a dumb reason for why this scene isn't lame. Just because it's a classic doesn't mean it's as good at it was in it's time. Times change and if you show this scene to any kid, they would consider it lame as well.

I would watch this for the sake of it being a classic, but I won't delude myself into calling it a good movie when I don't really just because it was made a long time ago.

Sorry the special effects aren't flashy enough you, but some of us have have the ability to judge a movie for reasons other than pretty CGI.

@UniversalHorror And by the way in case you're forgetting, the TRANSFORMATION was in CGI. The actual makeup was done by someone and it took a lot of hard work. You can't say you would rather pick this transformation over the one for the new Wolf man.

Then again, I'm not really a fan of loving/disliking movies just because of the time period they were made in. I prefer liking them because they are well done.

Absolute classic.

That makeup was done by a guy named Jack Pierce. He very nearly added the hair one at a time. The transformation took approx. 24 hours to film.
