I watched a DVD called "Hillsborough, the disaster", after an hour of seeing fans being crushed, people invading the pitch, advertising boards being used as makeshift stretchers, and death.....I can only conclude the "disaster" must be on disc 2

@NYJALB that is the point. previous semi finals were better organised. they filtered the crowd into the narrow leppings lane turnstiles,they had stewards on the tunnel so that when the middle pens were full no one else was allowed to enter via the tunnel.the officer in charge in 89,duckenfield,was inexperinced,it was his first semi final and he made some critical changes in organising the policing operation. if you're gonna comment please do some research first!

I dont know why people bother to comment that its Karma or shit for Heysel, do some of the innocent people deserve to die? Little children? Were their lives justified because of what happened against Juventus? The police owed a duty to the supporters to ensure safety above anything else, and they failed at that, they were of higher authority and should have put that fact to practice. they failed to do so.

@HelmutVillam So why did it not happen at previous semi-finals at this ground, when the organisers would have done exactly the same as they did on this day.........do you honestly not think that maybe, just maybe, people truning up late, without tickets may just, possibly have had something to do with it?

@NYJALB that is the point. previous semi finals were better organised. they filtered the crowd into the narrow leppings lane turnstiles,they had stewards on the tunnel so that when the middle pens were full no one else was allowed to enter via the tunnel.the officer in charge in 89,duckenfield,was inexperinced,it was his first semi final and he made some critical changes in organising the policing operation. if you're gonna comment please do some research first!
