I would be concerned with the blade being able to cut SAFELY through the sheet metal. but if you already have the tool use it. go slowly and be careful.
Don't have either tool yet. I'm thinking that a jigsaw would be a more versatile tool for the money, to also do other projects - wood, metal, plastic/acrylic.
I do have a hand nibbler, but it barely handles the 1/16" thick panel I want to cut.

I've got a project where I need to cut sheet metal, but I'm worried about the capacity of the pneumatic nibbler.
I've only got a small 3gal compressor, and the sheet metal is about 1/16" thick.
Is the pneumatic nibbler still the right tool for the job?
Or can I use a jigsaw with a metal blade?
