it's true that in the board game any unit of SM can be equipped to handle almost any situation, though with good strategy any army can beat any other army (i personaly kick ass with eldars)...and this video is cool and all for a game trailer but if it was more realistic those SM would've been dead before knowing what hapend.

power armor is neurally connected to the marine by an organ given to them called the "black carapace"

@helonion stop racking sm the reason the majority of people dislike them is because theyre good against anything and can be equipped to deal with any threat, the army that is the jack of all trades, they can take any army, period. some of the other races have things that are more specialized at one aspect than the sm will ever be but the sm are good enough to fight in every aspect

@BloodDX2 think its more like people dislike SM cause they dislike the good guys on every cartoon, cause they win despite they shouldnt , against impossible odds mostly due to deus ex machina. And i party do agree they are the poster boys of 40k , and really it gets tiring of them winning every time against well... everything. I know people say you cant do anything good with orks and nids etc, but personally i think thats just the easy way, try to be creative for once with some other race

@Heretus i think a lot of people also don't like them because its such a simple army to play... and one of the hardest races to play is dark eldar (tho they aren't technically a viable race anymore.) tho it had some of the most unique strategies.

space marines are still the strongest, they can take on chaos marines, necrons and even tyranids, they win in every battle because they have a strong will and more. . .

@19dimention92 They win because they are the GW poster boys of 40k. TT or MP is where they can and will lose. Also you forgot when the SM first fought the Nids they were getting slaughtered. @ Chapters were almost wiped out and because of that we go Tyrant and Hive Guards.

After watching this DOW2 cutscenemany times under many different names, I noticed the dreadnought's heavy flamer has a design more akin to the "Aliens" variant with the torch placed in front at a 45 degree angle in an encased muzzle. I'm used to the dual tube design found on the Bjorn,the Fell Handed and Mark 2 terminator models circa 1994.Has Games Workshop cosigned them to obsolcense(sp) since I've last been able to afford their superior,but pricey,models?

yeah thats right, the new style flamer nozzles always have a metal shroud with holes around the nozzle, and an igniter at a 45 degree angle. i think that started happening around 1998. try to keep up lol :)
