I also look at other news sources from political groups and people that you could say 'rebel' against normal society. And yes I know that not every shooting is in the paper. And just because I read something in the paper I dont always beleive it straight away, I like to question things. Its not nonsence. I didnt say they all shoot but read the papers and look on the net at different news groups, like 70-80% (rough estimation by me) are all involving people with middle eatern names. i dont have a problem with people seeking assylum if they are telling the truth. But you see allot of people seeking assylum give BS stories. The government is being too kind to illegal immigrants when we have Australian families here "legaly" living on the street in need of help.

And no they dont send them all back. most of them burn all their ducuments and ID papers and it takes forever to get a true ID on them. And they are usually let into the country. But the fact is, they arrive here illegally and it annoys me that some of them are put in hotels get free food and when let into the country get government benefits when there are Australian families here legaly to start with in need of help.

Its very unfortunate that Woomera is now associated with the detention centre. I was born in Woomera in the mid 70s and lived in the secure township for nearly 10 years, absolutely amazing for a kid. No better place to grow up. The pre-existing infrastructure and isolation were key elements for the location of the shameful detention centre. I love Woomera not the detention centre.

Its very unfortunate that Woomera is now associated with the detention centre. I was born in Woomera in the mid 70s and lived in the secure township for nearly 10 years, absolutely amazing for a kid. No better place to grow up. The pre-existing infrastructure and isolation were key elements for the location of the shameful detention centre. I love Woomera not the detention centre.

They dont do it by choice, leaving their friends & homeland & half die on the way here in choppy warters during the 6 month voage on a shitty boat, wouldn't you try to escape certain death for your children if u were told Australia was peaceful, democrattic, accepting of different nationalities (yeah right) there is wrk (refugees usually do the jobs we don't want & paid shit as we dont tend to hire them even though they r often more skilled than we r in terms of qualifications & experience)

Even in Paris France you can't walk around with an Ipod without being worried that it's gonna be taken unless you look mean. Our crime is rising because our police & courts are one of the softest in the world, people are getting 5 yrs for rape after courts keep reducing sentences ! & teenagers get a slap on the wrist when they commit crimes.

I am also only 18 and so far have only had a zippo lighter stolen from me and that was in Vietnam. And yes we do have one of the highest crime rates in the world and one of the fastest rising crime rates in the world.
