I got this game because of the commercial when I saw it on TV when I was little! And I I'm glad to have gotten it! I got it when it came out in 2003! IT IS THE BEST STAR WARS GAME IN HISTORY!!!!!!!

As for the people arguing that this is canon, IT'S NOT.

Only the 6 movies and the Holiday Special and the Clone Wars cartoon (the 2003 one) are Canon.

The rest is the expanded universe which is non canon. Lucas has said that himself that none of the other stuff reflects his storyline.

@snake2006 That is not completely true. LucasArts considers this game and many of the expanded universe media to be canon. True Lucas may not admit that the rest is part of his main story but for all intents and purposes it all s canon.

George Lucas OWNS Star Wars. Lucasarts is HIS company. They don't vouch for what he says.

George Lucas himself who owns the complete rights to Star Wars when he defered his directors fee for the rights when they negotiated with Fox for the making of the first Star Wars. (Empire of Dreams,look it up)

George Lucas has gone on record stating that the expanded universe is NOT official part of the story. It is there to keep fans who want more happy.

@snake2006 I know all of what your saying. And yes i agree. George doesn't consider anything outside of his movies to be canon. But Lucasfilms/arts keeps everything else in a timeline. They have levels of canon. It's called the Hyperspace database or something hyper. The movies are the highest level of canon. They are the main storyline. Then there is other media in the next level of canon which does encompass the movies. Then they have non canon like lego star wars. So there we go.

And who owns the right to Star Wars. It's Lucas himself and he is the overall boss of Star Wars. His universe.

Sadly as much as I don't want to accept it, I have to.

So when Lucas says nothing outside his 6 movies, the holiday special,the clone war cartoons both of them are the only canon.

I HATE THIS GAME.

I was expecting real time combat, none of the whole send the guy off to fight and you really don't do much to control the character during the fight. I hated that.

possiable, but then again it could simply be a represantation of the player and how they can choice what path then want to fallow. personaly, this is one of my favorits of all the comertials, its not long, or very complex, but it still gives me chills of excitment. ^_^

the canonical Revan is confirmed by Leland Chee to be male Also The New Essential Chronology and the Chronicles of the Old Republic published prior to the release of The Sith Lords both refer to Revan as male.

No, Revan is canonically male. Sorry, but it's been confirmed by LucasArts' themselves. The Jedi Exile is canonically female, though.

But yes that hair style is the portrait I think makes the best Revan look, also had detail with his ear damaged which would be caused by malak's firing when Revan was captured. Just can note it by the only one with a spikey hair style.

Knights of the old republic is the best game i have ever played. I just loved it. i was on the good side but i would always use the dark side of the force's attacks lol.

who said that was revan in the trailer and if were goin by the game this is knights of the "old republic" the jedi are differnt from the the anakin story, and revan if were going by the story is actually favoured to be a women

Revan is canonical male who chooses Lightside ending. In-game references from the Dantooine Council pose Revan (either by mistake or purposefully) as a "he/him" not a female. Get your facts straight. Revan is favored to be a male.

have you played the second one also!! if so u will know it follow's on as if ur character was female......carth is searching for revan, who he is in love with and you will also meet revans master who tells you all about it!! the game was made to meet players preferences, like in saints row 2 it obviously follows the story of the "guy" you played in the first one even though you have the option to be female

........In the beginning of KOTOR 2 when you meet atton you can tell atton revan was a male.....which is how they allow you to choose to continue how you had it in Kotor 1, but the official story and just about anything you read on Revan....favors as a MALE, and the Exile is female favored, Both Light Side Ending Else revan would kick Exile's arse...(Just wish his saber in the commercial was green; also Revan is both Consular and Guardian. ::kowtow:

because women like the idea of a strong female heroine, so of course their going to choose a female to conquer or save the galaxy, but he IS man. i think bioware just added WHAT DOES HE HAVE BETWEEN HIS/HER LEGS??!!! to create confusion.
