Ok. I will admit it. This video made tears come out of my eyes, and I cried for a few minutes here..... Wrath and Cata ruined SO MUCH with the game!! It's like that south park episode when the kids are crying over Indiana Jones getting raped!

WoW Cata sucks so much today compared to real World of WARCRAFT. You push a char on lvl 85 in 2 weeks without being dependent of some help from other players. You're lvl 85 and your fucking friendlist is empty. You're finishing Dungeon by Dungeon with players who only say "hi" and "bb" like fucking bots could do. Even in the most guilds friendship and communication gets lost! Why Blizzard just doesnt close their servers to create a single player wow? You wouldnt notice any crucial differences!

@KamaDx lol they are. MoP PvE Scenarios. But on the bright side, thats bringing back world bosses. And they are trying to make BGs fun again. hoepfully dgs will be challenging again too. Since theres no final boss in MoP it'll hopefully feel more like classic WoW

Vanilla is great. I really enjoyed it. But I don't know why everyone hates all the expansions. Ok so the new one, MoP, looks like it actuall sucks. To me, it seems like they ran out of ideas and decided: hey let's make an expansion with a new world and uh... everyone goes on an adventure! Nothing too epic. (Makes me sad) But still, why would you want to go back to vanilla? There are still a lot of great things added because of the expansions.

Everyone hates them because the game has completely sold out. It is no longer about truly challenging game play, but about paying $25 to buy a mount or getting into LFR and having only 8 of the 25 people have any idea how the fights work but they are so nerfed that people still get gear and think they know how to actually raid...

Here's an idea blizzard, go ahead and delete all of the expansions released so far, and keep the old world of warcraft, make more attunement quests, raise the mount level, decrease the mount speed, gives us different mechanics on different bosses, more hp to the raid bosses, and less damage output, a lot more variation in the dps rotations, variation in gear instead of stacking, stacking and stacking! Give dps roles a bigger responsibility! Make World of Warcraft fun again please!

@CountSexy What I mean is wow needs to be difficult again. I dont think all players should see end game raids and be able to wear the newest tier. Having tier was once an achievement where as now it seems as though every player has the right to wear it. Also the world was a bigger place in vanilla where an epic mount was considered a good achievement.Instead were flying over the zones and missing out on the world. Make it more difficult and we will feel a better sense of achievement.

i remmeber the first time i played this in a trial (ending of BC, not WOTLK) i had that feeling that you only have when you play a game that you really like (i suppose you had that feeling with a game right?) it was like when i was 5 years old and started playing wc3, in every quest i had that feeling (now i'm 14) after i took the trial, i started playing on pirate servers, but in july of this year, i started playing in the official, ITS SO FUCKING AMAZING!!!

Vanilla WoW was the best for those who played it because there was no central plot to it. The only "point" to the game was to go out and explore. Every expansion thus far until Mists of Pandaria has had a central plot or "goal", which is the death of some big baddie from previous WoW lore. TBC had Illidan, WotLK had Arthas, and Cata has Deathwing. At least TBC had a surprise end boss in the form of Kil'jaeden.

I played this game insanely from Jan(beta) until Sept/Oct 2005... and in this time it was like in this trailer, epic:

raiding the alliance and slew Onyxia/Ragnaros as one of the first german clans ever.

But playing without ppl you know personally, there was no fun any more.

@Cokecakepopcorn Honestly, 'back then' wasn't that great. It was riddled with bugs, the leveling and professions were a never ending grind, dungeons were simplistic and overtuned (rather then geniunely challenging), PvP was completely overlooked and imbalanced...

Also WoW hasn't really changed much from a design point of view since Warcraft 3. There's always been an elemental of Steampunk in it. Ignoring the Draenei, obviously.

i think flying really took a lot of the adventure feeling out of the game. it was fine in tbc, you leveled without it made it keep that old feeling, wotlk kinda took little bit of the eeling away, cata 100% killed that feeling. you have to have flying to do anythig. not fun.
