  • Does he realize that most countries have NOT recognized Kosovo? Jesus Christ...

  • I was actually for Obama, now I hope the U.S does not pick a president at all. They call our new president a 'puppet' and have no respect for him or Russians....screw 'osama' obama, 'the clit' clinton, mc'i hate my friends gay daughter'cain

  • there must be some strong signal send towards USA...

  • I can't believe Obama is serious, little does he know that International Community have not recognized Kosovo. No one in the world had recognized this state, it's not independant, it's a protectorate of NATO. The Inetrnational Community would support Russia if Russia enters Kosovo. Which I personally think is quite likely that this will happen.

  • Hirl.. Hulr, Hirali... Cunton... whatever...

You know, you never cease to amase me in your ignorance Mrs. Cunton!

As for Obama - trying to push on Russia - dream on, homie!

  • Lol Russia is weak right now, as well as China, infact china is weaker then Russia at the moment and Russia is by far weak compared to the Might and Advanced technology of the United States Military. We can push around Russia if we want.

  • I hope the Americans will vote Democratic, but no matter what, the upcoming president can only be better than Bush:)

  • I hate this whore, I hate her stupid ugly mug. Americans please, do the right thing, don't elect this vile, manipulative, lying, stupid whore, she'll ruin your country even more than that moron Bush did.

  • 02:11 Did he say "Yo"? :D

  • LMAO:D he's a rap star in his past, probably

  • Russia is the most democratic country in the world - That's our way our liberty our sovereign democracy and no one has any power to tell to russian poeple how to live and for whom to vote - fuck off MR. BUSH with your western values, we are WHOLE, one nation united under one Russian flag of liberty and we make our own choice autonomously. WE ARE FREE from all your fat bloody burgers, fake smiles, shootings in the schools and rampant national stupidity that world has never seen before)))ALAS

  • I can tell you one thing for sure, Clinton will be as stupid and clumsy as Bush in foreign policy.

  • hillary clinton is a neocon in disguise. her theories are exactly like extreme right wingers. this bitch needs to be shot!

  • Clinton is more like a traditional republican these days. As a British national, Russia is a lot closer and a lot more serious an issue for us. Seeing the Americans - especially one half of the democratic race (guess who) speak about it in such a blasée manner scares the crap out of me and a lot of others.

  • How can they be so stupid?

  • I don't know how Clinton can be the next president. She has absolutely no flair for subtleties of politics. You don't just go tell Putin "You're a dictator, you're anti-democratic". Blatant insults unconsciously aimed at other countries will only lead to worsened relations. And not to mention the mispronunciation...

  • Are All Democrat candidates really this dumb.

  • they sure are a hell lot smarter than the Republican candidates this year

  • uh uh uh me med de ev uh uh whatever

  • "Mischief they seem to be causing". Intrepid and cheeky. And the, uh, mischief in Iraq? I guess that's what we call humanitarian now.

  • LOL jesus christ, and does president bush make his own decisions? The god damn chimp can't even talk correctly.

  • And even Obama. Consolidating power in your own country is illegal? And the Bush administration? What about American foreign policy?

  • Obama scores - good answer and strategic mind.

  • Good opening for Russia-USA relations :-S

  • Obama didn't know the answer - lucky Hillary went first. But then she didn't know the guys name. But at least she knew what was going on I guess. When Obama answered intially he looked down at his notes - to make sure he repeated what Hillary said.

  • I don't see why pronouncing his name incorrectly is even a big deal. If you aren't familiar with it, you might not say it right. Everybody - even Obama - makes mistakes like that.

The problem is the "whatever" at the end, like it doesn't matter what his name is. A simple, "Sorry, I messed up his name pretty badly there!" or something would have been better.

  • Clearly she might have handled it better, but the reaction is understandable considering how and why the question was asked. This was clearly an attempt to tease out just how ignorant the candidates are of foreign policy issues a la Bush when he ran the first time around. In reality these candidates (on both sides of the political fence) are spoon fed info which has been pressed into neat, meaningless packages. They probably have little grasp of the details of any given situation.

  • oh, and what's this about "the so-called leading opposition figure spends most of his time praising Putin" Who is she talking about? I hope she doesn't mean Gennady Zuganov [the communist], he's got the most support after Medvedev?

  • Hillary's attitude towards the name is worrying, but more worrying is both candidate's poor answers to this question, especially Obama: "Putin has been very clear that he will continue to have the strongest hand in Russia." If you were to look for such clarity on Putin's part, you would find it only in western media. He has majority support to change the constitution to run for a 3rd term yet he chooses not to. I was an Obama supporter bfr, but now both candidates seem worthless; I'm not voting.

  • because of this one issue? that sounds petty.

  • well, I'm Russian (dual citizen), so it concerns me a lot. I've been very concerned about the West's superficial attitude towards Russian democracy; everything we do is construed in some anti-democratic light, even if it has analogues in the west (which are conveniently ignored). Putin's 70%+ approval ratings are, for reasons which escape me, seen as undemocratic, so what does that make FDR?

  • I agree with you on this and I'm in the same position. It really irks me that all of the candidates are of a Cold War mentality. I wanted to vote for Hillary in the beginning and now I'm sure I won't vote for her, Mccain was already off my list and I was hoping for Obama to have some brains and some of the things he has said I've liked, but this made me ugh.

  • Whatever? That shows experience. Real classy, Hill. Keep up the arrogance, sweety. What dont you add: What's his face?

  • That makes sense. I don't pay much attention to US politics but I've noticed that Hilary makes sexist jokes against women. I mean seriously?

  • 3rd - Obama's response mimicked Hillary's. He offered NOTHING of substance in his remark.

4th - She knew Medvedev's name, just couldn't get it out. No worse than Obama's done on NUMEROUS occasions. Like the time he referred to Stephen Harper as the "President of Canada". Newsflash... there is no President of Canada. Harper is the Prime Minister!

  • continued from previous post...

  • To mitko 1984:

You must be an Obama supporter, since your bias against Sen. Clinton is obvious. Just to clear up a few misstatements re: the previous posts.

1st - Russert's initial question wasn't "What's Putin's successor's name?" He asked "What can you tell me about him." Hillary passed that test with flying colors.

2nd - Did you not catch Obama turn to Hillary, as if to say: "Uhh, you take this one."

  • 100% agree. if you watched the post-debate analysis, chuck todd, msnbc's political director, called obama out on on the "look" to hillary and suggested that he was defering to her because he didn't know the question. and THAT is what worries me about obama. is he going to do that in a press conference, or at a summit? say, "excuse me, let me consult with my vp or advisors"? this is not the time for on the job training. obama just doesn't cut it when it comes to foreign policy. or much else.

  • The whole so-called "debate" looks more like a mid-school exam show. He didn't ask about her opinion, he asked her whether she knew his name, as if he doubted her knowledge. And she failed her small idiotic exam, lol.

Expect in the next episode - attempts of Obama and Clinton to find Russia on the world map! LOL

  • I can't believe this woman was TWICE the first lady of the US. She doesn't even know the name of the future Russian president and saying that her knowledge of the international situation is mediocre would be an understatement.

What could we expect from those people? If they don't know basic facts how are they gonna handle important issues like Iran, Kosovo or North Korea?

I wonder what would happen if she had to say the name of the Chinese president!

  • she knew his name, just couldn't get it out right. try saying his name. The chinese president's name is actually not that hard.

  • Omg she is so stupid!!!!

  • Med-ve-dev, Med-ve-dev.

    All repeat 10 times

"Medved" - a "bear" in Russian Language
