Somebody tried to screw Steve here, he never even heard this song before but still pulled it off. They treated him and drumming with little respect,they most likely wanted him to fail in front of a live tv audience so they would have a reason to get rid of him but that failed so they got rid of him anyway. Maybe i shouldnt say "they", but someone tried to fuck him up. I love Steve and GNR but i will always take Steve's side.

Steven claimed in his book that they played this song without him knowing it to embarass him. That seems too premeditated. I really doubt that was the situation...but with that said, they must have been really disorganized during this period to have let that happen.

You can see Duff helping Adler through the song, keeping the time. Slash and Izzy did their part too. But this is an easy punk-rock song for a drummer to play, and I'd bet Steven Adler had rehearsed it with the band at some point before this performance. Axl probably wasn't there, but I'm sure the band played it a few times in the past. Steven actually did a good job on this song. He didn't do a good job on "Civil War" though. Adler was clearly high.
