The pristine-quality restoration of The Boys in "Duck Soup" (Hal Roach Studios 1927) is truly a revelation. I have recently attended a screening of it at The Film Forum (an art and revival film house here in New York City)...I am very pleased to report that the audience reaction was one giant laugh from start to finish. Many thanks for sharing this intriguing offering.
Im a great fan of Laurel and Hardy and not Paul Merton he thinks he knows it all.
