Creed may be a christian band, and their "not-so-negative" lyrics may have been the reason why they weren't considered grunge back in the day. @buddyholly909 I really am amazed at the conviction beyond your words. Creed, is that who you were talking about? Creed may be a christian band, and their "not-so-negative" lyrics may have been the reason why they weren't considered grunge back in the day. Me, I personally don't put them into the grunge category because to me grunge has a very definate, raw, gloomy sound to it. As for "not making it out of the nineties", let me tell you that Creed put out albums until 2004 (grunge was already

@buddyholly909 dead by then).. that said, many grunge bands evolved into something more ellaborate (STP, Soundgarden/later Cornell solo/later Audioslave, Pearl Jam, etc)... but that doesn't give you any excuse to compare them to Creed and say that they had no musical talent.... do you even play anything? please....
