  • happened to me too. mine was psych abuse by x-wife. its hard for a guy to be in that position. i got out with my skin, but still a bit bitter.

  • You really did the right thing getting rid of your husband. I wondered why you'd split and I thought it was because he couldn't live with a quad, not because you'd got rid of him. I have a blind friend who was battered by her sighted husband a number of years ago. She went to a refuge, some religious leader told her to return after he had a word in his ear, so she went back and got beaten again. No woman, let alone a disabled one, should stick around a man who can't control his temper.
