hmm...my camera got 5 megapixels too. I tried to take a picture of the figure and it came out blurry. I looked at yours video and its just perfect. I will try to use the image editor maybe it will help.
I use the macro setting on my camera. Taken from about 20cm away with a good light source, then over to photoshop where i just enlarge the miniature area to fit the picture.
Something worth trying also is getting a magnifying glass or the large lens from a binoculars (the screw off ones.) and hold it in front of your camera while taking pictures. its the same principle as a macro lens just not as expensive :)

Just make sure you have a strong light source like a table lamp or something, also you don't need the miniature too close to the camera :)

Unfortunately mystics are not the magic users, runesmiths are. Although it would be a cool mini :)
Not sure about the chaos warriors, my book is from an old edition when you could (realm of chaos) but its all changed now :)
