I have this problem with placing cattle near a corral and placing sheep near the carding shed. The corrals are right next to a meadow and they are on a road. When I try to place cattle is says "cattle need Ranchers etc build another corral" and when I click on the corral it says "Ranchers can't reach the cattle" Can anyone help please?

There are so many good city building games. Still, this one has been my favourite for over 8 years. The gameplay is simple and the graphics aren't special. But I still really like it.

@chonyi I know it was 6 months ago but I'll respond anyway. I have no problem playing any of the classic city builder games on XP (Professional service pack 3). I think you can download service pack 3 from the Microsoft website. As for Zeus and it's expansion, I bought the UK versions because they were much cheaper than the US versions (if you want the expansion anyway).

@DocRomeroED If your corral has people working in it and you can't place cattle in the meadows field then something is corrupted with your game files.

Can't help you much unless you know which files are wrong or you can try reinstalling the game again but this time not inside the program files folder and turn off your anti-virus or defense software temporary to prevent any corruption during installation.

@csocsirocsi , not sure. Might be you installed the game into a protected folder like program files and since it's an old game, it requires administrator access. Either install game into non-protected or run game as an administrator(right-click icon and run as admin).

No, it's an expansion pack. You need Zeus game installed in order to play it.

@Enchanted0x Did not use the adventure editor much. There's a pdf manual on the adventure editor in your game installation directory or you can open up pre-made adventures inside the game itself as examples.
