When it's cold you can make the same peak power with less boost. That is the wastage and bov releasing boost to regulate horsepower . I heard the same noise and was like, oh shit is something wrong but it's normal with our cars.

Yea dude I'd have to say that's a boost leak because I have an 04 srt4 with k&n and its doesn't make that sound and there's no difference in the 04's and 05's. I could be wrong but it deffnitly sounds that way. Do you have any other mods other then intake? I just have rims, tires, turbo timer and intake on mine for right now.

It's just a natural boost sound. I had a brand new 2005 srt4 that made the same sound.

No it isn't, that sound is because you either have a Turbo imbalance or you got an air leak. This is the main reason why turbo cars die fast, beacuse of ignorants that know nothing about them.

I've had 2 of these SRT-4's that I've put thousands of thousands of miles on and I never had an issue with the turbo or the engine in either. The '05s sound like this from the factory. First of all i called you ignorant because you are, you've owned this car for a while and don't know a single thing about it because if you did, you would know it's either a turbo imbalance or an air leak(pretty obvious if you had any clue about turbo car troubleshooting). I have a 05 SRT-4 Stage 2 with the Mopar cold air intake and its never(in its life) made that whistle sound. For god sakes your air filter still has the bag on it lol.
