I must say, mamie was very smart! while jayne and marilyn did big budget films that took for ever to make, mamie made these low budget b movies one after another. And it may seem crazy, but she got very rich off of all of them. Also even in a movie this cheap, you cal still see how great her acting really was! Way to go mamie.

To think that Van Doren inspired Marilyn is absurd. Marilyn was inspired by talent and class. Marilyn did love Jean Harlow, but their screen personas were wildly different, and Mamie was more like Mae West than any of them, a completely one-dimensional vamp.

I've always thought that Mamie was more beautiful than Marilyn or Jayne. She's certainly always had a better personality and sense of humor as well. Today, she's still more gorgeous than any of the "celebrities" today. Cooler and funnier too.

Didn't Mamie Van Doren once write an autobiography called "A Tale of Two Titties"? And how come I've never known anyone who had an "aunt" who looked like her?
