best damn video for the game and use Karin is Yuri's mom the ending where she goes back in the past is the true ending. The called her Anna because she was a Germany and if they found out she would be hunted down like a dog thanks to the war so they made up an identity for her. I'm guess when she goes back to time she has no memmory but still has her papers stating she is Anna on her as they were told to carry them on themselves earlier in the game.

Actually Karin still has her memory intact. She names her son after her first lover (first person she loves). Who are the same person. Thats why Yuri is named Yuri. The director of the game even acknowledges this.

Okay. I remember in the game that they briefly called Karin by the name of Anne while they were in Russia and Japan. I don't exactly remember why since I haven't played the game in a while.

There was pretty much an interview with the director of the game where he blatantly stated that Karin was Yuri's mom.

Also, didn't that picture of Yuri's Mom look suspiciously familiar to Karin? You're welcome to think what you want, I'm just explaining my reasons.

well ur right it's a bit confusing but all timetraveling storys are like this. let's start this from karin's point of view: yuri was telling her about his past, that her mother is russian etc. and when they were in the prison in japan they give her the name of yuris mom. sooooo that's the infos karin got. later she had this talk with kurandos mother where his mother told her that she was born under a special star and gave her this picture where u could see her, yuri and

I did'nt like ALice's voice in SH2. But her voicecover in the first one was lovely! and I like Karen's voice, she sounds a little uncertain but sounds smooth anyway, perfect for her character. and im curious about this follow up of the bad SH2 ending Originaldatagate mentioned..

They should make a better sequel to SH2. For those of you who haven't played the third game in the series, It never even mentions Yuri or Alice. The new story they come up with is not that good. The gameplay is fun though.

SPOILER! They should make a sequel that follows the bad ending for SH2, where Yuri loses his memory. He could slowly get his memory back as he is reminded of things from his past.

SH2 was the sequel to the bad ending of the first game, when Alice dies.

if yuri had not met alice...and met karin instead...they would've fallen in love...but the ending is really sad.. its the saddest ending ever...one of my favourite games..shadow hearts...umm but i didnt complete part 1...but part 2 ending is soo sad and its a bit messed up really...

Believe me, I do. That being said, I highly doubt (or at least I'm hoping) that Yuri actually knew that Karin was his mother.

I tried to keep it mostly centered around Alice and Yuri for this reason, but I felt it would have been strange not to include Karin seeing as he had...some kind of feelings for her.

I understand what you mean, its more of the relationship. Yes Karin is sexy and whatnot, but the relationship between Yuri x Alice is a lot stronger. Plus love can surpass beauty. I personally found Karin too whiny and enjoyed Alice's character more.

Yeah, I like Yuri and Alice too. I see what you mean about the tree thing and I agree. Yet for some reason I kept wanting to put the tree part at the end, so I did.
