When will I learn? When I read the title of the song, I thought, "Oh no, what on earth will this sound like?", since I was familiar with the original and couldn't imagine David singing it. Well obviously he did an awesome job and after all the covers I've heard him do and do VERY WELL, you'd think by now that I would recognize he is a master and can cover any song he chooses. Wow. Sorry for my moment of doubt, David.

This song choice is even stranger than their Little Lies Cover. David sings it nicely and it sounds better than the original, but it's not an easy song to make sound current.

A few weeks ago an interviewer, I think it was at Virginia Beach, asked David what what music he's been listening to lately and what's on his i-pod. He answered , among others, Johnny hates Jazz Shattered dreams. I thought, What? Then I remember thinking his rocked out version may show up on a future set list.
