  • i have a stock srt4 with motor mounts clutch blow off valve and exhaust but i do have a diablo what should i do im new to the srt i just got it today so i need help with what mods to do and how to tune the basics thanks

  • @sr20detism im not lookin to go a million MPH i want 350hp safely without spending a to much money if possible im not cheap but dont wanna spend 10k ona car that will sell for 7k

  • Can you run a atmosphere dump BOV without issues on a SRT4??

  • I need my stock wastegate back that dude was right agp sucks ..

  • ummm anything over 18psi is over kill on a stock turbo any way

  • By resetting the battery after the tune install you mean disconnecting the battery for 15 min right?

  • @cisco17571757 30 seconds is enough time.

  • Now the stock WGA that's the stock or stage 2..?.and what vacuum lines do I run with it also got the hks bov?

  • @highlandsrt4 If you have a stock or Stage 1 PCM you run the stock WGA. If you have a Stage 2 PCM you run the Stage 2 WGA.

Google "SRT-4 performance mods and upgrade paths" for my complete guide which includes links to vacuum line diagrams.

  • Can I run a 93 tune with agp wg and downpipe?

  • @highlandsrt4 An open downpipe (if that's what you mean) isn't a problem but I highly recommend a wideband O2 gauge with any exhaust mods because your mix will tip lean enough to be unsafe. AGP WGA? What is this 2004? If you run the AGP to control boost the car will be slow as hell. The DSP is designed to be used with the stock WGA on PCM controlled boost. I personally run 25psi on the stock 4lb WGA (meth injected of course). No partial throttle overboost, smooth boost curve, boost-by-gear, etc.

  • @NorthNJSRT4 so i cant run a agp wga with the tune? the stock one is ass.. and it doesnt hold boost when i run it now, what makes me think it will hold boost then lol? what happens if i leave the agp on it and download the tune?

  • @srt4edwin I don't think you understand how the system works. When you're on PCM controlled boost the WGA has nothing to do with how much boost you can hold. I run 25psi on the Stock WGA. When you run an AGP you only have 1 fixed level of boost that never changes which makes the car suck to drive (and slower than a car with a stock WGA on PCM control). You can keep the AGP if you like (which is just dumb) but you'll have to make changes to your tune each time the temperature changes +/-10F.

  • hey um seen ya on the forms question. if i have a 50 trim would the 93 tune work

  • @mikhailSRT4 No, you'd need a custom tune because a 50trim flows ALOT more air volume than a stock turbo at the same psi. Visit SRTForums[dot]com and send a private message to Turbo666 mentioning that I sent you.

  • The stock sensors are 2.25BAR (they read up to ~18.5psi). If you wish to run 3BAR sensors you need to get a rescale tune from a ChipMaster Revolution dealer...NOT the Dodge dealership. The Dodge dealer will look at you like you're insane. Visit the DSP section of SRTForums(dot)com for all the info you could ever possibly need on the DSP.

  • @NorthNJSRT4

Awesome! thanks! i try to keep on the forums, but get lost sometimes..lol.. plus trying to learn as much as possible fast! so i end up getting everything scrambled..lol.

  • i have a stock stage 1. so i have 2 bar tip and 2 bar map. so it'll be ok? then i can just go to the dealership and get the ecu programmed for 3 bar, after putting the ecu back to the stock tune, and then put it back on with a different 93 tune that comes with it too? just so i understand right.. plus i'll need to unhook the battery for a few min 1st to get the ecu for learning?

  • You have to reset the battery to clear all the PCMs learned fuel and timing trims from the stock tune as well as trigger learning mode. The trims on the 93tune will be very different.

  • cuz im doing my tune tom and want to do it right

  • why do u have to reset the battery

  • @viper46563 Im Wondering the same thing...

  • @e1853b The average gains on a stock car i 25hp\40tq. It's target AFR is 11.77, the stock tune targets around 10.8. It will not throw codes and the car can pass OBDII state inspection, even in Cali.

  • @e1853b Wondering the same thing...

  • No, since you likely have 3bar sensors and larger injectors you will need a rescale tune. They run about $25 per component.

  • can use the 93tune with like a 20g or 50trim turbo setup? fuel upgrades?

  • @BiggerStrongerBetter The 93tune is designed for a stock or Staged PCM. However a CMR dealer can email you a custom tune (or you can get a dyno tune) to setup the car for ANY mods you can think of.

  • All PCMs. The DSP comes with six different '93tunes' for the NSRT-4 and a couple for the GT Cruiser. One tailor made for each PCM from stock to S3 w/ Toys that includes rescales for 3bar sensors, S2/3 injectors, and so on.

  • is that just for stock srts or can you use i on stage 3s

  • @streetrage42 The DSP comes preloaded with 6 different '93tunes' (and a couple for the GT Cruiser). The first time you plug it in it will identify which PCM you have and load the correct tune. In the case of an S3 car it would already be scaled for S2/3 fuel injectors, 3BAR sensors and the S3 turbo.
