  • sexy glasses, beautiful eyes

  • Vegan movement? What garbage. The reason why animals are here is for us as humans to use as we find necessary. Don't put animals at the same level as human beings.

  • @lacrosseguy556 As someone who grew up on a farm, I agree. Take chickens for example. Asides from providing meat and eggs, they are pretty much useless. What would we do with the milk we take from cows if we couldn't process it? It would be a total waste of potential calcium. What it all comes down to is if people want to be vegan, then it's fine by me as long as they lay off the rest of us. I'm not trying to take sides, just trying to be a voice of reason.

  • Nice example!

  • Why is it wrong to murder on a industrial scale? Why is pain wrong? Everything we do is natural. Pain, murder, wars, hate etc. is natural and therefore not wrong because it happens. To say what is right and wrong is arrogant and closeminded. Nuclear bombs are as natural as carrots and flowers. If we destoy the planet completely it is something natural. Please don't interfere with nature.

  • @TinyArts You are interfering with compassion ( a human characteristic). What is natural to you is not natural to others. Assuming what is natural is also arrogant and close minded. Your ideas are self-serving and humans are meant to evolve.

  • i just ate a giant steak.

  • @flik221 GTFO TROLL

  • Vegan for life <3 I still feel bad for not being since I was born but hey it's never to late. I have only two problems that I'm trying to figure out: clothes made of wool (is better than synthetic and sheeps need to have some wool cutted but I just can't trust how this is made until I have my own sheep and love her/him so much); smoking (only one tabacco company not testing on animals in the world (!!!), I need to plant my own tabacco ASAP).

  • I was searching for "Pity Animal" by United Nations, and your video was right below it. Great Message! GO VEGAN!

  • It's true, animals do not need our pity. It's just adding insult to injury. Good work on this vid.

  • Be vegan. That's your choice. I won't. That's mine.

  • @NinjaGhostScorpion Well said.

  • I loved how their is so much emotion in your voice in this video. So many times you sound like you are just about to burst into tears..very powerful..

~ Being Vegan is purely about Morals. Do I believe that animal cruelty well be abolished in my lifetime? Not at all, but I do know that i well not be apart of it.

~ I loved that you took that women down a peg, acting all high a superior then you and all other vegans, when really she is closer to the Problem then she is to the Cure

    ))Hugs((

  • This is fantastic, I've just shared it on my facebook. THANK YOU

  • Perfectly precise and true. Big thumbs up.

  • they would die from over population and they would be in our cities walking around and then people would get hurt

tell me what u think about that

  • @duraldehunter Really..is that why industries breed so many chickens and cows all the time because there's such an overabundance of them?

  • well you see if vegan have their way then millions of people would loose their jobs the fast food industry has millions of jobs then you add up all the fishermen that also has millions of jobs then you look at how the economy not everyone can be a doctor. then you look a hunters with the vegans hunting would sure go away because it would be illegal and then we start to loose culture and get dependent on the super market. next we can look at the animals without us killing animal they would die an

  • @duraldehunter I don't think vegans or at least reasonable ones want the WHOLE world to go vegan. They just want more people to not contribute to it and make it more humane. It used to be more humane when people hunted for their own food and had their own farms.

  • @ultravirgin well i dont know but i do have my own farm and hunt so i think that you do have a point i dont agree with the people who hunt tiggers and lions just for fun the only animal that you should kill for fun is a oposum a raccoon armadilo snakes turtles and thats pretty much it and the reason is because they tear up property like farms but some neusiens animals not sure if thats spelled correctly but some of them you can eat and when you hunt it does save money

  • @duraldehunter I don't think that is good logic though. Quagga went extinct because they were being used for leather/meat AND because farmers were shooting them since they saw them as a threat and competition for food for their animals.

  • I like your video very much. Very clear-cut.

Animal welfarists who aren't vegan are making such an incredible contradiction!

off topic: I like the music at the end, can you tell me what it is?

  • @Shockledee the song is "Stay strong" by a group called Newsboys

  • @porolita22

    Thank you! : )

  • Comment removed

  • the people who say they should but can't stop eating animal products are just brutes.

  • Incredible video Pao :-) So true.

  • Yes... I usually confront the "magic word" which is "BUT"... Many say they feel so terrible- "but" --- Or that it's awful, what happens to innocent animals- "but". It doesn't have to be this way... All it takes is following through with what you know to be right. Simple - Go Vegan.

  • Great video porolita!

  • @ shinigamideathgirl. I'm sorry, but you seem to have completely missed the point. Did you not hear the comparison between animal farming and taking well care of your human slaves, while taking away their freedom, selling their children and in the end eating them?

Do you care at all about freedom? Do you not think that everyone has a right to be free? Do you think it is right to take away someone else freedom for your own personal gain? Human beings are selfish.

  • I'm going to go vegan once I become ready to handle it. So far lacto ovo vegetarian is basically a training for me.

  • meat tastes gross anyway! and come to think of it, i don't like milk or cheese either. :|

  • i fancy you so much! (: one comment:

since i went vegan (nearly two years ago), i have "converted" nearly 20 people. so going vegan makes a HUGE difference. it's word of mouth. it's activism. it's protesting. it's spreading the word and opening peoples eyes! if each of those 20 people convert 20 people, and THEY convert 20, and so on and so on. the world can be vegan! (:

keep up the great work, love. you're so inspirational for so many. xoxo

  • So true! Thank you!

I'm wearing the shirt you made in this video btw :D

Gonna flaunt it a bit next time I do a video wearing it.

    <3

  • @xveganxwangx It really is! I haven't been vegan for long, but it is already having an impact. Seems like my friends and family understands now that this is serious stuff. One of my friends already says she is considering dropping meat.

  • @xveganxwangx That's called a pyramid scheme. >.>

  • I'm vegan and I've done work at the animal shelter :p

  • Alright, you know what would be a bit more productive than being a vegan or vegetarian? Stop human encroachment, pollution, poaching and overharvesting (fish etc...) that is much more invasive and detrimental to them than what we eat. I mean most production animals are treated quite well and yes we are animals but animals eat animals! And my pets are happy! I put them outside, they come back inside, its comfortable, its free food for them, I keep them safe.

  • @shinigamideathgirl I already adress this kind of argument in my newest video, for if you're interested.

And if you think "production animals" are treated "quite well" you must live in another reality. I recommend you do research, and find out it's far from the truth.

  • Wow, I'm hated! Totally hated! lol

  • greatttttttttttt video..........very gud!!!

  • When I used to be vegan, people used to say that to me, about others will eat it anyway. Im a vegatarian now. I add soya or rice milk to foods & I only use soya spread aswell. Know im nearly recovered from my eating disorder im thinking of going back vegan, there are so many vegan products out now, so I don't see why not, so if I have my friends round we can still make pizza & other foods. I dont want it to seem an excuse to not eat infront of others, but i'll work on it. thanks for your vid X

  • sorry for spelling mistakes. Also the reason I use soya products and dont add milk, is that I have stomach problems anyway, so it's easier to digest.

  • Every good work, no matter how small it is, must be done.

  • great vid!

    one struggle one fight!

  • Great pro vegan vid.

Love that you quote Helen Keller.

  • Thank you <3

  • You're absolutely right. Even if your were the only vegan in the world, it would still be worth it not to have your soul or character stained and debased by ingesting the products of all this cruelty, suffering, sadism, cowardice, the list goes on. There are a lot of us, and more every day...of course it's effective. If it wasn't, meat proponents wouldn't consider us a serious threat.

  • You'll be pleasantly surprised. Vegan meals are very satisfying. To be a healthy vegan you really have to pay attention to your food but I see that as a good thing.

I've always been thin but I don't think I've ever been healthy. It wasn't until I went vegan I realized how much crap I eat all day long. Now that I've cut back (and I have more to cut back still) I have so much more energy! I never realized that my tiredness was related to food because my weight has always been fine.

  • Because I've been vegetarian my whole life, I've grown up with people telling me all sorts of things that would in turn make me laugh actually but also made me very defensive of why these people say such things. I wasn't very deep about the vegetarianism itself but because this was normal to me and i was a healthy child, glowing, had lots of energy and so veg/vegan, all i've been told is you're gonna die or, you need your protein.

  • For example, people don't know much sometimes. My mom told a mother of a child's bday part in advanced that my little brother was vegetarian and she said okay, so he can eat chicken though yea? This surprised me a lot but you can't hold it against people. Then one mother said he has a lot of energy for a vegetarian because they're known to be tired blablablah.. I seriously don't know where this came from?! lol. Who knows maybe it makes sense somewhere. :}

  • But I agree with you and I think some people just don't care enough. My own friends have told me, why bother? Hardly anyone else is going to, you're not going to change anything. I mean you can't alter everything but that doesn't mean carry on harming.

  • What great points! I told someone I just went vegan last week and their response was, "I couldn't. I like cheese too much!" That's a really common reply I get. The thing is, I loved all those things too but I stopped eating them because I want things to change and Veganism is the way to do it!

  • Question: Do you eat sugar? Sugar is processed with bone as you probably know. The thing is, once you get into vegan and non-vegan processes, it gets impossible. You can't even use tires. I want animal liberation very badly but I'm afraid that if things get too difficult, it will drive others away from the cause and discourage them to join. I was curious about if you eat things with sugar and about your thoughts on vegan vs. non-vegan processes. Thank you!

  • Organic sugar. Agave nectar.

What's in tires that isn't vegan?

  • Animal products are used in the process. Same goes for many plastics, bricks, and plastics. Just to name a few. I'm afraid to seem contradictory in conversations. But I'll just try my best.

  • @MyNext1WillBeBetter The way society works today involves a lot of animal exploitation by default. But why not stop participating and supporting the things that are in our power? just because we can't change the rest? Not a good reason. We have to encourage people to make the change of their lifestyle, because as "hard" as it appears today, I imagine it was more complicated for the first vegans a couple of decades ago :) we have it easier, and definitely generations to come will have it better

  • @MyNext1WillBeBetter regarding sugar, I agree with nick16watt There is organic vegan sugar, beet sugar, unbleached brown sugar, I don't really "eat foods with sugar" in fact I stay away from processed foods, because you can't really trust them :(

Who needs cookies and cakes and all that stuff anyway? It's not really good. Hard to let go at first perhaps, but we're better off :D

  • I was thinking about all the arguments I've been having. Now I'm thinking, most people agruing against animal rights have no idea what they are talking about so I doubt that these subjects will come up anyway.

I'll just try the best I can to avoid things and hope it contributes to increased demand of vegan things. :)

Sorry if this ends up being a repeated post.

  • Congratulations on going vegan, MyNext1WillBeBetter! If I can support you in any way, feel free to send me a direct message!

Part of being vegan, which you seem to have discovered, includes all the questions you get from others, and you might not always know the answer. There's a really helpful podcast episode from Vincent Guihan about this, and it should help you a lot!

    Remove the spaces:

    animalemancipation . com

    Listen to episode 4.

    Cheers,

    Tim

  • Thank you for being so supportive. I've been finding support hard to find, even among other vegans. I makes veganism seem lonely sometimes. :-(

The podcast was really helpful and the tone in you response was kind. Thanks!

  • Ugh I get that a lot too

"omg this is so sad but i can't stop eating meat... but i wish i could do something!"

THEN STOP EATING THEM... it's really not that hard :)

  • To me, you are a leader in the vegan movement.

    You are very important.

And your light is so bright ,

that the rest of us struggle to reach up to your standards.

    Thank you Porolita.

May God Bless you and your husband.

    Adios.

  • Porolita, I fucking love you!

    <3

  • I've been vegetarian for 7 months now, I feel so alone since i have not met any others in my town, my professor asked the class were any other vegetarians there and no one raised their hands, I still love being vegetarian though

  • @RusconiDom we have a choice, we can reason, measure the consequences of our choices and all the things that come along. That "circle of life" thing... seriously? LOL Tell you what, I will send you a PM with loads of further info so you can better understand our position? ok? :D

  • @RusconiDom Oh yeah totally, I am sure a cow would eat you in a heartbeat... and those chickens, they are vicious and dangerous! LOL

  • Great video, great points, five stars :)

  • Further, they just don't want to face and admit that they are WRONG!!

  • You look angry!! That's fine, you know, I have been vegetarian for 6 years, and I feel so good. But my friends, family always tell me you have to eat some meat because you need it. Then, they said something like"They born to be eaten", you know, if the whole world people are wise like you guys, there is no tragedy in the world.

  • @ananpipi1227 I was a bit annoyed, yes :) lol

  • @shiveryshiva you are absolutely right. People don't even pay attention to the words they're saying sometimes. It's boggles my mind.

  • Great video :)

  • It disturbs me that my parents and my niece that claim they are animal lovers continue to eat them. My mother says "I don't eat that much meat" She eats meat every day. My niece says she wants to go vegetarian but keeps putting it off. If she wants to do it she should. She is old enough to understand. My nephew is vegetarian and as far as I know practically vegan (though I don't think he knows what the word means) He won't eat any animals and directly drink milk or eat eggs. I am so proud of him

  • I'm in this challenge for about 40 days now...and I LOVE it!

Thanks for all your videos, I just developed your channel a few days ago and I watched a lot of your videos and some made me very thoughtful...

    where are you from?

    greetings from germany!

  • Hey im from Germany too, near Stuttgart =)

  • @PrincessFuture Hello! I am from Guatemala :D thank you for watching.

  • Awesome video!

  • I am sitting here in a room by myself and though there is no one around to hear I actually was applauding as you spoke. Well said my friend. Well said!!!!

  • @TheVeganHere aww <33 thanks Arnold. You're the best :)

  • <3 the video xx

I take the same approach when putting forward my reasons for veganism. I find there are so many ignorant people, who will not acknowledge that we as humans are systematically abusing and killing animals for our own ends.

  • @DigigirlAshley <3 you.

  • great video =)

  • great video! and nice to see your face again! :)

  • @OMGitsSeppie Thank you! :)

  • totally true! wonderful video!

  • Porolita, is your husband a vegan too? or a vegetarian?

  • @Greenillusionist neither, I guess you could say he's an omnivore struggling to go vegan.... he doesn't eat dairy, or meat, etc, it helps everything at our home is vegan, when we go out, or at relative's homes, it a little harder for him >:( sigh.

  • you took the words out of my mouth... favorite video!

  • It really isn't difficult being a vegan. If everyone would do their part, this world would be a better place.

  • :) Great video, inspired me to do another

    motivational vegan video.

    Great point too!

  • @kookooacho yay go do!

  • It's like the thing with the environmental issues of the meat production, saying the meat industry is so bad becourse of it's CO2- or Methane-emissions is like you would say the concentration camps where awful and wrong becourse of their CO2-emissions. I know the environmental issues maby are important too, but the main point why people should be vegan is becourse of animal rights!

  • Well said my friend.....

Animals don't need people feeling guilty and writing checks to animal welfare orgs. We all can stop this by going vegan.

THE WORLD IS VEGAN, if we want it!

  • that's a good example to use on people who work with animals

  • @lehman It just doesn't make any sense right? Unless of course, you're biased, which she clearly was >:(
