We are not experiencing facism. The BNP is facist. We are experiencing a labour governement, how is that facist?
There are natural ties between buisness and government, why wouldnt you want to nuture a good relationship to someone who makes your country more developed and provides good and services consumers want?
There are not natural ties between business and government. Business can do fine without government if we had a laizzes faire capitalism.
The only thing that government does is to take wealth from successful individuals and corporations by taxation (initiating force) to give it to unproductive businesses and individuals.
Obviously a welfare state attracts lobbyist wanting other peoples wealth.
Government doesn't make anything. It only redistributes wealth. Every welfare state is doomed.
They said he got a 'grilling' in the papers, don't know if that was really the right word for it. Brown had control of this bubble for ten years that spectacularly exploded, so he's either inept at safeguarding an overbooming economy, or guilty of making an economic bomb that america detonated which implies something even more sinister.
Who had control of the banks? the FSA. Who made the FSA? Gordon Brown.. as stated he presided over it, controlled it, could regulate it but all his economic experience couldn't see a house price collapse that happens as regular as every 14 years for the last 200..no tin hats here, but there are definately some major life changes that fit quite nicely with browns plans for new world order. (and he has made speeches on it) :D
I'm not disagreeing that the FSA has been ineffective, but Gordon Brown didn't "make" the FSA...Neither was he "presiding over", nor "controlling" it. The FSA has its own Chairman, CEO, MDs etc. etc. Plus he wasn't Chancellor of the Exchequer while all these problems came about (including the house price collapse and subsequent credit crunch/recession).
Fine if you don't like him, just your facts should at least be correct.
Agreed - who cares if he hasn't got 'charisma' and a colgate smile like Blair; he has the intellectual rigor and thorough knowledge of the finance sector need to take us through this mess. This isn't a time for personality/media type PMs.
It's a shame the Labout party were facists, lord Sugar would of made a good PM as he doesnt take any crap.

Just wait a year and the Pound will be less than the Euro.
Its a strange feeling first and you feel kind of like empty, but when it reaches later 1,30 Lb = 1 Eu, you will get used to it, so don't worry.

It's most surreal seeing these two men like this. They're not being mercilessly edited (as much as usual). Strange...

Is sugar going to mention how Brown lost all the pensioners millions of pounds when he was Chancellor?

Lord Sugar is one of the business giants of our time,of the same calibre as the Duke of York (bet he can play golf too).

Ok, so you prefer a communist society such as ex Soviet or North Korea. Perhaps you would prefer the U.K and possibly Europe to be run like Cuba?
cutterschoicenotmine 2 years ago
No I'm pro capitalism and free markets.
There isn't a free market when business and government gangs up on the citizens, that is called fascism.
We're experiencing fascism.
