Katherine O'Hara isnt a singer, she's an actress... but I think she did well. Her untrained voice actually fit the movie and song perfectly. It wouldnt have been as effectual if they had a professional singer for the part. Thumbs up and kudos to Kathy. It doesnt hurt that I think shes cute as hell too.

Catherine is a great singer, I really think so. But I prefer Evanescence's version to this song, even though this version matches with Sally's character better.

All of you saying Amy Lee did better. GET HEARING AIDS!!!!!!! Amy put NO emotion whatsoever into it, and sally is NOT gloomy and depressed so why is every body saying "Amy Lee's goes better with the mood" and "Amy sounds more sally"ish"" SHE DOES NOT!!! her voice is MUCH too deep. Sally is a soft fragile character, not a depressed creeper whos mourning because jack isnt listening to her. She's worried that Jack is going to get hurt and she'll never be able to tell him how she really feels.

People need to get over the fact that Amy Lee's is different, because DUH it's not going to fit for SALLY as well as the one MADE FOR SALLY does xP I like Amy Lee's version better because of the harmony, and I honestly don't like high-pitched girly singers. Not to say that I dislike this version, I just like Amy Lee's better.

I agree, i cant stand the covers to the nightmare songs. The only one i am ok with is Marilyn Mansons cover of this is halloween but i still prefer the original. Nobody can sing these songs like the original and when they make covers they mess with the tone so much it doesn't fit at all. Amy Lee's version was too depressing, sally isn't depressed she's upset and worried.

Both versions are better, and I love them both the same because they are both the same. It is sang this way, awkwardly because Sally is an awkward girl. This is the original so don't say crap about it. Catherine O Hara sang this wonderfully. As did Amy lee. I love Amy, but this is a great version, the original.

This version is MUCH more haunting. Amy Lee can't hold a candle to this, though her voice is nice. I think this has more raw emotion. It sort of trembles a little.
