  • I made this! It's terrific! Thanks, Ron!

  • wow. this looks great. gonna try this one.

  • Just wanted to tell you that my wife made this meal for us and it ws really good. Thank you

  • @zackcor That's great to hear! I think if I had to pick one of my favorite recipes, it would still be this one! Easy, inexpensive and filling! Glad you came back to share your experience with me and hope you'll try some more recipes down the road!

  • Chuck thank you so much for this, I had it last night, it tasted like Heaven, I sincerely mean that, I never thought that chicken could taste that good,. Or that I would get everything right from my 1st attempt at it. I am going to try the gravy tonight and have it with Cumberland sausage, mashed patatos and baked beans. I am looking forward to see what is next in the Trilogy and trying that out too. Thank you.

  • @petbabyamy First, thank you for the fine compliments! I am so glad your expereince with this was a great one! That's the whole message with my style of cooking...K.I.S.S. (Keepin' It Short & Simple). BRAVO to you for your first attempt and the pride you obviously feel with accomplishing something that comes off so good. Now you have a recipe you can make for others. Let me know how the gravy turns out and thanks for your support!!

  • There have been alot of people that have helped and are helpin along the path to hopefully something really fantastic sometime in the future! Garrett is just one of those many! This is one I would recommend you make. It is so easy and the smells and flavors are SO GOOOOOD!

  • LOVE THE CHICKEN AND NICE TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE GARRET WALLACE (SORRY IF I SPELT IT WRONGLY) WHO PRESENT YOU WITH A NICE APRON WHICH SUITED YOU BEST! IT'S AN ICON WENEVER I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS YA! HAPPY TRAILIN AND BLAZIN IN THE KITCHEN................

  • I loved your video, I want to know please, id it possible to get all of the incredients premade and ready to use? I can not weigh stuff to save my life, timing stuff I do by really checking on food in my oven to se if it is cooked. Rather than go by actual time it would take and I am not very good with figures, please do let me know if there is a much easier way to try to do this dish, I would love to try it, I do apologise for the level of my learning difficulty.

  • i have a story about chiken< about egg or chiken? when chiken born in this world.....who is produce first them chiken or egg? people always say this.....if chiken born before egg...why chiken born with egg? my opinion i don't care as long there chiken and egg and watch video cooking, i eaten both...in my life i love egg and chiken.

  • @theriversofidiotman LOL...ok...the age old question...I say eat them both and dont sweat the small stuiff and thanks for your comment!

  • got to try this i am a casserole freak and this looks great

  • @dragonflychainsaw Thanks for the compliment. Appreicate the view and comments. Come back and let me know how it turned out for you.

  • mmmmmmmm!! looks mighty tasty!

  • What fun!! I am looking forward to more!! Love the apron too cutie!

  • How can u be a "Chuckwagon Cowboy" cooking in a modern indoor kitchen?

  • @roninslam Because I'm a modern day "Chuckwagon Cowboy", using the term to in this instance to provide KISS (Keepin It Short and Simple) meals that are for people who dont have alot of time, money or skills in the kitchen...much like the hey day of the cowboys on the dusty trail who had simple resources and means to make meals on a tight timeframe and budget. So, the modern kitchen is my "Chuckwagon" of the 21st century!

  • Congratulations on the Journal Times article. Former Racinian here.

  • I like the ep good cooking tip.

how did you do that intro?

  • Your presentation is charming. Can't watch without getting a smile on my face! Kudos to your crew and photographers. Nice mixing, clear and concise instruction, with a nice homey feel. Best of luck with your book!

  • Thank you for sharing, Cowboy ...LIKE

  • Did you use instant white rice?

  • G O O D

  • Kool show homie good cooking

  • dang i love that apron

  • sounds like good food. I don't care about the background decorations as long as the food is good.

  • Nice video! I can't wait to see more! Good job!

  • I make something just like this but use water instead of milk, looks like my recipe needs to be revamped ;) The onion soup mix is a great idea I can't wait to use that next time I make my chicken casserole. Thanks DJTara Domestic Goddess ;)

  • @blueeyedtara There are many offshoots over the past decades!

  • ..Nice., looks delicious..

  • sharing ur giblets :)

  • Yummy!

  • I would love to see an episode about cooking casseroles in a cast iron Dutch Oven!

  • Hello! Very intresting videos! I look forward to seeing more :)

  • Outside in your fire pit, that is..

  • Hey man, what about cooking casseroles in a cast iron Dutch Oven? Can it be done? glad to chat!

  • I'm not saying anythings wrong with violets, I am just saying to cowboy it up a little to match the theme... I seriously doubt you saw violets in the chuckwagens. You have a great kitchen, but it doesn't fit the theme. Backyard would be better! Use wood, and primitive methods to cook your great casseroles, and you will REALLY have something besides one more cooking show!

  • @themarkfellows2 I will be having segments out by my fire pit where I do pizzas and other things. Not sure how "primative" that is, but I do appreciate your comments and hope you continue to enjoy the show, violets and all:)

  • Looks delicious! You have such a great personality - I love watching your show! :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy thank you so much!! I do appreciate it!!

  • I thank you for sending Friends Request! You know, I do love to cook and

I've learned so much from this show! Keep up the good work, The Chuckwagon Cowboy! I'm a huge fan. God bless! =)

  • @lustydariuz Thank you very much for the nice compliment!

  • Yummmm. It looks really good. You should get a TV show.

  • @TheRBAnimation Well, we like making Bizarre Ed hungry! If I didn't, I wouldn't be doing my job very well! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @Antropofotikon Much thanks on the compliment...keep watching!!! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @FreedomMountain Yes, VERY important!

  • @FreedomMountain Hey thanks Preacherman! We got plenty already filmed for our Season One so hold onto your bible! :) Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • nice one...lookin for more :)!!

  • @TheSwaggerscrew Thanks and there will be alot more coming. Next one should be later in the week and I'm doing up a dessert this time! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I love cooking channels; and I like your approach very much. Also; it is almost impossible to find a good casserole in Hollywood for whatever reason and I think that is a shame.

  • @DDejon Well, thanks! I'm just "me". I try to put out a show on how I would like to see if if I were the viewer. There will be some more suprizes and additions to the show as we get into the first season. You will definately see the changes and I think you will find them all entertaining and enlightenting. Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • good video, nice recipe

  • @vbcvbcfambam Thanks, I really appreciate your compliment! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Awesome vid, it looks really professional! Cool recipe too!

  • @therealannmarie Thank you and thank you! :) It only gets better as we move into the heart of Season One. i've filmed I think 12 episodes now and filming begins again on a few more this weekend! Stay tuned!! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I loved your episode of "No Peek Chicken". Great Video. I will be trying this for my grandkids.

  • @paparobert13 Thanks Robert and when you do make this, please come back and report on how your experience was with the family! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • That would be good with a nice hunk of cornbread. Good job!

  • @MrJingjong Yessum! I have done that a few times. The rice is so filling though, most of cornbread goes to the dog in the end! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Hey, thank you for sending me this episode. You presented everything like a real pro, so keep up the good work!

  • @SkyShaymin08 Much thanks for your kind compliment. I strive to get better with each episode! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy With pleasure :)

  • This looks so good!

  • @TheYoungTurksTC Thank you for the nice compliment and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Hey bud, you never got back to my comment. "chuckwagon cowboy" With the dainty little violets in the window... I am sure, you are a great cook, but your kitchen should match the theme... If you don't want to cook outdoors, with a cooler, or stuff, how bout cowboy upping your kitchen?

  • @themarkfellows2 I'm sorry. If I didn't I either didn't see it or it got "lost" somewhere. Oh, now wait...those are my Momma's violets and since she passed in 2009, those are a constant reminder of her continued life and presence in my life and alittle of her in the kitchen on each show. I also will be doing shows from my backyard compound and the fire pit grillin'. So before you shoot the cowboy, meet him at High Noon at least and give him a chance to prove himself! :)

  • You really know your stuff.

  • @wuebboltc Well, I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I did learn alot from years of being in the kitchen with Momma and from many of the PBS cookings shows out growing up (Julia Child, The Galloping Gourmet, ect). Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • yeah yeah i like this thank for sharing

  • @theriversofidiotman LOL...well I appreciate the "thumbs up"! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Wooh Illinois!!

  • @TheSchwartzcaster Yep! Normal, IL is where my clan is from! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • YUUUUUUUMY...

    I love your presentation...very simple!

This recipe will be on the menu in this house for sure...

    thankyou

    xoxo

  • @sallie6 Thanks for the kind compliment and when you do make this, please come back and let me know how your experience was. Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • You Know

  • @Nintendo23Gamer "You know" what? LOL!

  • i'm a pretty basic cook myself. it is nice to see good chicken dish. i will for sure watch any new episodes. pleasant way to learn new recipes. :>)

  • @TheJanel131 Thanks for the kind compliment and when you do make this, please come back and let me know how your experience was. Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Looks great man, damn your kitchen looks clean and tidy, unlike mine hehehe

  • @schedir81 HA! First, thank you for the compliment. Well...I do try to keep a tight reign on things in the kitchen, but I have my moments as everyone else does! Maybe I need to do an "organizing" show for some of my less "neat" kitcheneers! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I really enjoy your down-to-earth personality. And this recipe looks delicious.

  • @thatdariachick Well, first I thank you for the kind compliment. I just try to be "me"! I hope you try the recipe sometime and report back with your experience:) Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy Just keep being yourself. It makes the segment more enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

  • Urm.. Don't caseroles have pastry?

  • @SlapYouIWill Not at all! Not sure where you got that? However, I think I will give you formal definition so there is no misunderstanding.

  • Enough to get my attention. Nice video but change your camera angle a little so everybody can see what ur doing

  • @TheFrankPod I'll take note of that and see what we can do about that. My kitchen is like a Galleyway type, so there isnt alot of room or space. I think you'll find future shows as we get into our Season One will be a bit better with that aspect. Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Salmonella /sal-mon-ella/ is not a poison, its a bacteria that produces a waiste that makes us sick.

By the way you have way more patients then I do to cook, you know how I cook, I'll have the #5 make it a medium :D

  • @Socoolscienceshow I appreicate you taking the time to point that out and yes, I do know it is a bactieria:) We do the shows in a "live" type format (meaning not scripted or edited) and in my tongue twisted attempt at saying Salmonella (which we all have words we have trouble pronouncing, that being one of mine), I was trying to find a light way of moving on with it. If I were doing a show or tip specifically educating people on the baterica, it would have been alot more formal and scientific:)

  • Very informative looks delicious!!! could other ingredients be used along with the chicken breast like rotel or maybe even some diced onion or mushroom or peppers? thank you again great video. will have to try it:)

  • @Tentomon23978 Hey the skies the limit when it comes to being creative and inventive with a recipe, so GO WILD! Just make sure it's what appeals to you and watch anything that has liquid to it! That will make a good recipe runny if you dont adjust the liquid content someplace else:) Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Hey a couple days ago I watched this then the next day we made it was really really good

  • @smellypurplefish Well, that is the ULTIMATE compliment when someone makes your recipe and has good things to say about it, thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment on the video and engaging with the video on your own! I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I detest unsolicited videos but I like this one. Please bear in mind people around the world watch and they don't have ready made soup so try to give information about raw materials. I had a very hard time here in France learning how to substitute and a lot of people speak English now, watch YouTube but they are in places where they cannot even get . . . worcestershire sauce, which is "sauce anglaise" here and rare and costly. You are adorable! I have subscribed.

  • @slobomotion Well, what can I say but I thank you and you do make a good point that I will try to incorporate in my listing of the amounts of ingredients to try to make them both US and Metric. This goes all over the world and I have alot of fine people like yourself to concider that don't use the US measurement standards!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy I really encourage you to put subtitles in English. It is not hard to annotate our vids here on YT. I know this seems like a lot of work to you but it makes your good stuff more user friendly to non English mother tongue people, and there are a ton of them out there. One in three people in the world speaks English now but they need a lot of help. A lot of them are alert and studious but we must aid them with the process! They love Americans! They do! xo

  • Jeje, se ve bien, y perdona, per yo hablo español, pero dale que yo traduzco. --> Very good work friend, I hope you continue like this, also Join my Channel. Good luck

  • @rude69style Well, first thank you for the nice compliment. I've joined and I thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Your videos are a LOT better than mine, but if you are going for the 'pro' look, you should probably get a countertop 'island' so the viewer can see both you and the food at all times. Otherwise, I like the show.

  • @DonSmales Well, if I wern't working on a bare bones budget and a very small island kitchen, I would be right there with you Don! But I guess we'll have to wait for a network wth a vision to pick me up and make that happen, at least for now:) Thank you for the nice compliment and for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • cool video, very professional and cool

  • @yungcbtv Thanks! Much appreciated on the compliment and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • This was really nice to watch, thanks for sharing!

  • @vanillahearts62 Thank you kindly for tthe nice compliment and taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Yummy!

  • @shaiworld I know, right? That's what I'm sayin'! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy sure yeah! well, I really liked to watch people cook so I watched your video..Also, you did well. :D

  • Nice video!

  • @kubeen81 Thank you for the fine compliment and thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

Nothing impresses a significant other more than to have a tasty dinner waiting for them! You know what I'm sayin'? :) Hey, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • great video, keep them coming

  • @MrRapier1812 Thank you and thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @MrKooger666 Well I appreciate how often or little you get a chance to check my show out....the episodes will be there, the main thing is just GET OVER THERE and see them! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the "No Peek Chicken" casserole. It's one of my personal favorites! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • cool cooking show from onetalent dog

  • @onetalentdog Thanks for the compliment onetalent dog! Hey, thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • that was really good dude

  • @OOO1239 Thanks for the "thumbs up" and thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Great video.... that chicken looked REAL good. You should invest in a set of Silicone Spatulas so the next time you have to GET EVERY LAST DROP from a sauce out of the bowl it won't sound so harsh. Metal spoons on glass is almost as bad as nails on a chalk board. ;)

  • @nriqueog Good point and I am going to do just that over the coming weekend. Not sure how much they are though, living on a small budget, so may have to save up for those if they are pricey:) Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • yummy ^w^

  • @MsHinata69 Thank you kindly and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • well helloooo cowboy :)

  • @MrStripyHead LMAO!! Well look who slithered from over the other part of the world! You know the "Cowboy" enjoys Mr Strippy Head's vids and so glad you made an appearence in here. (You still havent subbed me though, just sayin') :)

  • This looks like a great dish for those who like to do a week's meals at a time on the weekends because they usually don't have time when they come home from work. (Just be sure to freeze what you set aside for later use right away, and thaw it in the microwave. Anything with that much milk in it can be hazardous if it stays too long at room temp.) I strongly recommend washung your chicken. There can be some ghastly pathenogens in chicken. And wash your hands before handling any other foods.

  • @leftysergeant Thank you and I concur with you all the way there! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I love the my mama stories. :)

  • @MrSwiftyGaming Thanks! They won't be in every episode, but you'll hear me reference her and cute quip or story once in awhile. You'll have to get the book though as it has 30 short stories, simular to the kind I tell on my show about the craziness and jugularities growing up cooking with her and the recipes that surrounded the particular story. Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Keep it simple that make`s for good cooking. my version use`s less ingredients

    1 can celery soup

1 can mushroom soup 400 grams cooked elbow pasta

    1 can tuna

    1 tube crackers

    mix together

sprinkle crackers on top bake 350 for 30 min.

Well done Video`s Ron. from your good buddy Donald

  • @wallybag100 That's almost identical to one of the various Tuna Caseroles I make on occasion. Good stuff! Yes...K.I.S.S. (Keepin' It Short & Simple) in the kitchen!! Thanks as always for taking the time out to check out the videos and comment! Glad you're riding on the "Chuckwagon Express" Donald! Good Eatin' & Happy Trails!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy Penny is this you?

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy Wow, you are an adorable man with a friendly spirit. This cooking only works in the USA, but whatever! xo

  • @slobomotion Aw, thanks! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy Your lovely personality and essentially good information will likely make this a winning channel! Think international, man! xo

  • Beautiful!

  • @Lux583 I definately appreciate the "thumbs up"! Thank you kindly for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @JavenTV1 Hey, give it a shot! There isnt anything to it! I have the ingredients in the comments of the video and youre basically just puring things into a baking dish, mixing them up, sealing the dish with aluminum foil and puting it in the oven for the mentioned temp and time. You cant go wrong. Give it a try!!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy You might want to consider subtitling this in English. I know it is tiresome but you have a pleasant American personality and many will find your accent hard to understand, believe me. I know it is slight but it is very basic American and a lot of the rest of the world can't get it. The English subtitles are used on carrotnecklace often and they are winners. You are a hit with me!

  • Love it!

  • @EasyRecipesWithTwist Much appreciatd and thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @TheMarktopiaShow Marcxus, thanks as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and your contuinued friendship on and off YouTube! I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • awesome channel enjoyed

  • @maniacmarklewin52 I'm glad you did! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • hell yeah man great stuff..

  • @marcelstjean Thanks for the thumbs up and for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Congrats on your first episode ever! It was really good!! The food looked delicious, very easy and simple to make, and like always you kept the show very entertaining! I enjoy it very much! Can't wait for the next one!

  • @slolita1 I so appreciate your kind comments and thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • I don't cook, I don't cook at all. Like the closest thing I come to cooking is heating up Instant Ramen. xD

But wow, this was helpful. I MADE SOMETHING WITHOUT BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN. You should be proud. :D For that, I owe you a subscription. A subscription for something I've never subscribed to someone for.

Nice job. ;) POSTTTTTTTTT MORE. :D

  • @MakaxKid WOW, you are the EXACT person I am doing this show for...people who are Kitchen Novices, who don't like to cook, don't have the time or skills to. These meals I will be showcasing are KISS (Keepin' It Short & Simple) type that almost anyone can handle and be proud of. Thank you for the great message and for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Love the intro. I have never washed my chicken, you're right, good advise.

    Sounds very tasty.....♫Logic

  • @indigenous4logic There's been the "Big Chicken Washing or Not" debate going on whether it's better to or not. I think both sides have their pros and cons, so I just say stick to what you were taught growing up or if you never had any advice, do what you think is the most logical thing to you. I never got sick from washing off my chicken! Thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Ron, once again you've done a great job! I can't wait to try this recipe out! I love your apron by the way :) Hayley x

  • @TheHandofLogic Thanks Haley and now I am going to go look at your latest video! Thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • What happened to the tradational English meal?!

  • @cooltroop2 That's an idea for one of my upcoming shows. I do hope you enjoyed this video and thanks for being aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • @ChuckwagonCowboy I enjoyed your presentation, very professional. I will try this recipe, perhaps tomorrow, little to late tonight hamburgers waitin. I enjoy doing a little cookin myself and know what you mean about getting into your preparation and having fun with it.

  • @cowboyhatsstraw Awesome! Please let me know how your experience with the recipe was!

  • Ron,

This is absolutely fabulous....you have done a great job......Very informative, video is awesome, opening credit very festive....So very proud of you, you will go very far my friend

  • @Festivemen Thanks guys! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and sharing this journey with my friends:) Thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!

  • Looks great man...great recipe!!

  • @TheVittleVlog Thanks Rick. Appreciate the compliment and thank you as always for taking the time to watch and comment on the video and I’m glad to have you aboard the "Chuckwagon Express"!
