HAHA!, with a pretty decent setup like yours I thought it was hilarious to see RCA cables hooked up to your sound modules. It's like a nice Porche with old Pinto wheels.
I'm sorry, I know nothing about computers but I really need a good setup and everyones recommending a Mac but its price is too much...can you tell w/c is better?mac or the one you have?
i used a thematake box, 750 watt corsair power supply , gigabite board, 9550 chip set, i think that's it , a coolmaster cpu cooler, 4gig corsair dominator ram because they have big heat sinks,5 fans two plextor op. the hard drives are hot swap and load from the front the holder is ata and holds the four drives which are portend 4 times the top hd holds all op sys win xp. vista sucks ram and editing needs all the ram it can get.editing 70%cpu/50%ram hope this helps
I used a mixer for different sound inputs but just use a computer program now lot easier and less equipment to mess with and have lying around, all those wires drives me mad, still got loads of wires but a little less of them, I used to run a recording studio from in here so you can imagine the amount of wires, when I switch on here half the lights go dim down in the village.
