it's a nice, easy software, but it's a shame that it doesn't have any filters like "deshaker" for example

Another informative tut John, nicely done. Don't own any camera myself, but i can appreciate all that you share and i bet it very useful information for Corel user.

I heard they coming out with new version soon, hope they fix the rendering issue, adding more output format :p

Thanks Norman, yes I've read about this so called new version on a forum, I don't think it's a new version of X2, correct me if I'm wrong. People who have downloaded a trial have said it's really slow and uninstalled it from what I gather. I'll do a search and see what I can find out

Just and FYI this may not work for some HDD cameras, like my JVC Everio, but you can use the "Import from Mobile Device".

I know, there are always going to be some issues with certain makes of camera, nothing is ever going to be 100%. Most cameras will work with this method. My Canon and my Panasonic work perfectly this way, but thanks for the info anyway
