  • @drsanrod Hi and Thanks! If you can afford piano lessons then do, but also try just messing about with sounds and atmospheres in a constructive way, thats how I started out and I still can't play piano:)

  • The Juno G has great EP's .. is it the Lonesome Road patch?

  • what's the name of this song ?

    I love it.

  • can someone reply to this question ?!

Really, from the first few notes it felt like I already knew the song.

  • @Keybern Hi there, I never named the song, it was just a little live improv piece I made a while back :)

  • @mik300z No cover ? I'm surprised, it felt so familiar ! (and still does)

I would definitely buy the record.

Keep up the good work, you're a true artist !

  • Sounds really, really great. A lot of amazing atmosphere and good skills, conected with a lot of great stuff! :D

Sound of Rhodes really comes out from Juno G? It's just in front of you, at the bottom, yea"

  • anyone happen to know where to get a juno 106 or 60 for under $200

  • What reverb/delay units are you using? Makes/Models... The reverbs are lush and deep, sound almost compressed too.

  • reverb and compression from both behringer mixer and compressor. Great gear for small money:)

    Jens

  • Fantastic Mik300z :D

  • The first second or so sounds reminds me entirely of Moricone's The Thing soundtrack. I think you could certainly sound a film, if it were the right one...

  • yep, i see where you're getting "the thing" vibe in the intro, cheers for the input:)

  • Congrats again! I love that piano sound. Hope you get on a label eventually. ;-)

  • Mick - I don't think you realize just out outstanding your music really is.

Yes, there's inspiration from Vangelis, Carpenter, etc. But you've got a real gift and talent that is beyond description.

  • @zenmachinefilms I agree. Please write something of your own and sell it on itunes. I would buy it.

  • Dreaming away!

    Graet!

    Tonnoxy

  • Awesome as usual Mick!

    Very chilled, very inspirational....

  • One ounce of vangelis, one ounce of John Carpenter, and just a dash of Tangerine Dream over rocks. Very nice!

  • Lol! I like that description thanks!!

  • *snip* Lol! I like that description thanks!!

My pleasure, and you know it would be cool if you ever got urge to do your version of a Tangerine Dream song like Rubycon or such. Thanks again one of your subbers!

  • Great my friend, new song !!!

  • Great stuff as usual Mick ;) This strikes me as a perfect blending of Vangelis vs John Carpenter. Sorry you dind't hear from me sooner, but I've been very busy. Keep amazing the hell outta me with your 'soundscaping'.. I've followed up on your work though the last month, and you never stop to surprise me. Thank you for inspiring a lot of people like me. And btw: GREAT job on scoring the photo-gallery of that astronomer-guy, really liked your custom-made song for him! Three tumbs up ;)

  • Thanks Alec, I have a large quantity of music yes, not sure about quality though....!

  • You give the Wine too much credit. ; )

  • sounds great, very spacey, very Vangelis-like from like the 70s or 80s. I definitely heard some Blade Runner in there. Yeah, those reverby rhodes sounds are dreamy.

  • Maestro! :)

  • Roland Juno-G, "little" Brother of the Roland Fantom Xa

  • Sounds neat thru some decent Headphones. You should do more of those "Fun playing" Videos, they just sound amazing.

  • actually it sounds incredible, but I have good speakers too.
