We had our differences and lived far apart, but in the end we were communicating, visiting each other and sending cards/gifts. Having my son be proud of me and respecting me and his elders is the most rewarding thing I've ever experienced. It certainly outshines any what ifs that I had with my dad.

There are many things I wanted to say to my Dad now...but I can't..but I could always try to be a good father to my children...just like he did to me.

I think of both my parents with this song...always loved Bread...as for the post of loveofgoodmusic - funny name since they wouldn't know good music if it smacked them in the face! The music of the 60's and 70's had body and soul. The music today is just jibberish and they arent even creative enough to write their own - they remake the songs from the 60's and 70's - loveof goodmusic is an idiot!
