That's okay, I understand. I listened to three covers yesterday (whenever I watched yours) and all of them didn't do the entire song. I just thought it was because of the line, "and to the black folks he was just a crazy nigger," and you and them didn't want a bunch of backlash because of it.

I understand 100% that that lyric isn't racist in the least bit, well from Dylan's/The singer's POV it isn't. But like I said, a lot of people who have covered this song tend not to sing that lyric, and was just wondering if you did that. actually it's a travesty that the common perception about ruben carter being an innocent man. a little independent research will reveal to most anyone that carter and artis were indeed the killers. this is a phenomenal song, but it's terribly inaccurate and the film was filled with lies as well. as sure as you're singing this song carter killed those people, but still a great tune nonetheless.

Thanks for that,glad you liked it.The hardest,most frustrating thing when working like that is trying to get the sound levels right.I suggest that you just record one verse and see if it all fits together nicely,then do the whole thing once it does.The last thing you want to do is record an excellent take but the violin's too loud or the vocals are too quiet,especially o a song this long.LOL.Good luck mate,would love to hear your version once you've finished it.:)
